Spacious apartment for family of 4, with 2 twin beds and bunk bed, basic kitchen facilities, relatively modern bathroom, issues with flushing the toilet. Restaurant within hotel, good breakfast buffet.

Requested double room and in a very impolite way was told I will noy have it

It was a fine stay for a night.

The room is clean and tidy, the bed is a bit uncomfortable though, we stayed in an apartment which comes with a small kitchenette, kids sleep in the sofabed and the adult sleep in 2 single beds combined as a double bed. you do need a car if you want to stay here as it is quite far from Port Adventure.

We had a lovely time, staff really friendly, there is even a shuttle taking you into Salou a couple of times a day for free (wish we'd known that from the beginning!!!!) The town is really Spanish, no English translation on manu's etc (which we liked) made us realise that we really need to brush up on our Spanish!! :-)

This is s nice hotel in a small town center. Pool can be a little overloaded in summer time, so if you like to watch kids playing and screaming, this is your choice. If you like to see normal spanish living, walk outside and there you go.

bed was uncomfortable and sofa was smelly. disappointed that the restaurant /bar had less than average food for dinner but there were good restaurants nearby. the room door was damaged which made me feel unsafe.

Nice hotel, decent standard. Accomodation: enter into a kitchenette with kettle, microwave, stove top and fridge. You must request kitchen cooking/eating equipment which is delivered to room. This leads to a childrens sleeping area with bunkbeds and a large sliding door into a larger bedroom for adults and the ensuite.Bathroom was very good. Hot shower with lots of pressure. Plenty of towels and shampoo/shower gel. Hairdryer in bathroom.Had power cut whilst cooking spag n meatballs so we were moved to apartment next door which was slightly different as it had 2 separate beds. My daughter preferred this as she banged her head on bunk a few times as it was low.Disney channel on tv can be changed to english language if you have right remote control (Samsung) must have tools button. We swapped them over from 1st room to 2nd as 2nd room had different controller!Hotel is on a roundabout, on same roundabout is a Spanish supermarket, bit closer than Lidl and Aldi.Excellent driver of courtesy shuttle bus to La Pineda beach and Salou called Sergio. He spoke flawless English and answered all questions.The rooms wee not quite spotless i had to clean kitchenette before use and a few earwig type thingys were about at times. Nothing a shoe didnt sort out though.Olga on reception was very helpful when we discovered we had left our return Ryanair boarding passes in the 1st room and kindly printed off new ones for us.All in all a pleasant stay.

Staff vwey kind and food was fine. Some misunderstanding with room numbers but eneuthinj was as expected

Overall it was a great holiday, but the hotel would of not of been the highlight. Thought the hotel was clean and had 24/7 service, the staff were polite, but not very courteous, and sometimes felt forced to help rather than wanted to. the air conditioning in the room did not work, and with high temperatures, i was pretty unpleasant to sleep at night. The beds were not that great, facing slight back and neck problems, but nothing severe, just would of liked a softer pillow and bed. Overall the hotel is by far not the best we have stayed in, but it was a reasonable price and location so we settled for it. do not think i will be returning to that particular one, but i know mercure has done us well in the past in other locations.

Hotel conveniently located away from from the hustle and bustle of Salou. The Family rooms were of a good size and had a small kitchenette. Only thing that was lacking was nice TVs/DVD/Media player. No English channels not even BBC World News. Wifi good. The outdoor pool was a good size, but can get busy in the afternoon. The Indoor Spa pool looked nice too. Did not eat in the restaurant, so can't say what the food is like. Three supermarkets within a 10 min walk and a few restaurants in the very near vicinity. Good value for money overall.

Needed a place to stay en-route to Barcelona. Mobile World congress was in full swing so anything within 30km of the city was insane - typically 5x their normal rates. This hotel was a bargain for 4 stars.

The double bed was 2 singles pushed together, but definitely singles, which moved even if you just wanted to hug.Not ideal for a romantic weekend. The indoor pool was connected to the Spa which only opened at 10am, which is too late if you fancy a swim before breakfast and before going out. Not a hotel I would go back to

On the positive side the rooms were clean and staff very friendly but as a tourist with a car i was most annoyed to find out that to use their car park would cost 9 euros per day which i think for a four star hotel is disgusting.Should you choose not to use thier car park you can try and i mean try to find parking in the vacinity which is almost impossible and should you park in the wrong bays in the town you could find that your car has been towed away.My second slight grumble is the location which quite literally is in the middle of nowhere so be warned if you going for the fun and attractions if nearby Salou or La Pineda be prepared to fork out 15 euros each way from the hotel or you could wait for the hotels very small minibus which is always full!

Stopped one night on the way up to Andorra. Hotel ok with nice bar/pub opposite with good prices for both drinks and food.

Nice Hotel in the very Spanish area of Vila Seca. Restaurants local are great, just need to explore! Cheap and great food, nice to be away from the real tourist traps!

Great hotel close to salou and portaventura. Oscar working in the resturant was brilliant, great customer service. Free shuttle buses to nearby attractions was so helpful and the drivers English was perfect and always offering help. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent. Chosen as stop over on travelling to Spain. There was an extra fee for secure parking. Would use again

The hotel was in a quiet and peaceful setting surrounded by plenty of shops, it is very clean and comfortable with friendly staff,there is a free shuttle bus to take you to and from the theme park of port aventura and the aquapolis water park and the beaches of salou and la pineda,overall a lovely place to stay and good base for all activities.

This hotel is quite modern and well kept, the pool and spa were good, but the area is a bit of a letdown, as no one other than the reception staff spoke English! Fine if you want to only go to port aventura , but not good if you want to be in salou because it's about 12 euros into salou. No wifi in the rooms, only the foyer which was a bit of a pain.

Good hotel. More 3 star than 4 star. Staff polite and friendly. Hotel clean. Good if you like a quiet holiday. About 5 minute car journey to beach, half hour walk. Buffet breakfast good. Three course evening menu a bit hit and miss.

This hotel was OK, BUT - be aware that the gym consists of 1 bike and spa treatments e.g. massages are NOT available on weekdays! No in-room movies. Considering this even the tempting price didn't make it worth it! Other than for PortAventura (which is NOT within walking distance if you have children or are in anyway less than superfit) there is no sensible reason for a tourist to stay at this poorly located hotel - perhaps the dividing door between yiou and the kids could be important enough? Parking is an extra 10 E per night - street parking is not an option as too many apartments frequent the locality + security felt 'iffy'. There is a pretty good UK/SA bar next door that serves moderately decent pizzas.
