This property has now been completely refurbished and the rooms are lovely and at a very good price. Staff are very friendly and having the bar/club house across the carpark is very convenient for both dinner and breakfast. We only had breakfast but it was a beautiful buffet with a very large range of food. Highly recommend this place.

The food from the Taven is very poor , we have stayed at this Motel several times before and the quality of the meals has gone downhill . To the managers credit they gave us our money back .

The property was beautifully furnished and you felt as though you were in a high end hotel. Having the club/bar across the car park was very convenient and the breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced for the amount you could eat! The staff were very welcoming and I would recommend thismplace to any traveller.

Just been newly renovated but still some construction at one end of the building only. The room and facilities were very clean and the room was fresh and light. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food for room service was varied and delicious. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely return often.

Tucked away, and has everything. Connected to a hotel, with good food, and its own bottle shop. The rooms are new, spacious, comfortable and very clean. The cleanest I’ve seen in a long time. The owners should be proud, definitely my new go to place.

Just pissed off when you come back at night and there is no parking cars are parked across the rd on the grass etc so couldn’t get to my room until after 9pm
They need to do something about this for it will stop people staying there

A handy location for our Newcastle visit to various relatives. The recent refurbishment is excellent and plenty of parking. Check in easy and friendly. Pub attached has very generous servings and variety of food as well as catering for families with an internal playground area. Enjoyed our breakfast too.
