Good for short stay

It was a good place for my overnight stay

2nd time visitor at Melbourne Inn and I loved my visit. Twice is really nice. More channels and a bathtub in some of the rooms would be nice. Floaties for the children would also be nice.

Staff were terrific!

I am very much dissatisfied with this hotel services. Room toilet stop working was not flushing and I had to wait the next almost 24 for plumber to arrive. Cleaners is not available on a daily basis to get room tidy up unless it’s booked at front desk. Road outside of hotel floods whenever it rain make it difficult for you to walk going into the property. But staff was extremely useful and nice

I like that it was safe to go in and out of the property. They could improve by providing some beverages in the morning.

Amazing friendly staff. The cleaning team also always said hello and did an excellent job, going above and beyond with their care and attention to detail. The hotel is close to the market, beach, and restaurants, which is perfect.

This is a decent place to stay for a night or two. The taxi cost $35 USD from the airport but it’s best to ask the taxi line operator for a rate slip prior to getting in the cab or they might try to charge whatever they want. We were leaving for a cruise the next day and needed somewhere affordable and clean for a short stay. The property is small and very basic (no bells and whistles) but it did have a nice pool area and it is close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was okay - again very basic but good for a short stay. It was clean, had a fridge, microwave, balcony, good water pressure, ample space and a variety of TV channels. The bed was rock hard and quite uncomfortable but at least there is AC. It is a 2 minute walk to Irie Foods - a great Jamaican restaurant with tasty food and there is a small convenience store nearby selling drinks, snacks, toiletries etc (but it is rather expensive). Overall the hotel was okay - served its purpose for the night.

Ideal for short term stay reasonably close to airport and beach. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The friendliness of the ENTIRE staff. I also, felt extremely SAFE. As a solo female traveler it is important that I feel safe.

This hotel was in a great spot! Close to restaurants, nightlife and the beach. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Really helpful and amazing employees. Pool was really nice to have as well.

Melbourne Inn is exactly what you expect. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms and a great pool. We also really enjoyed the distance to the beach and restaurants in the city.

The staff and patrons are amazing. Friendly and there for you. Nice small friendly environment. Perfect for a vacation get a way. Will definitely stay there again. Close to many shops and restaurants. All within walking distances.

Melbourne Inn was extremely clean, quiet, convenient to the beach.

Excellent location in the Gap. Close to a convenience store and lovely restaurants for either a quick bite or more relaxed dining. Room was clean and neat. Not luxury but more than adequate for a place to stay if you are on the go daily. Comfortable bed too! Pool lovely and well maintained. Staff very friendly and warm. I would return!

Wonderful place that you won't regret staying at. Only small issues would be sometimes there no hot/warm water to shower and it's a bit loud in the hallway as people come and go in the mornings and at night, but otherwise well worth the money and super clean!

We stayed here 1 night before going to a Sandals resort. Location to sandals was a 4 minute walk. It was a $27 US taxi ride from the airport. The main entrance looks like it is an alley. Glad the taxi driver took us. This is a very basic economy hotel. It was clean and comfortable, and we assume safe.

Id go back to book with them, the location is great if yu want to stay near to restaurants etc. Rooms are clean i liked my panoramic suite. Just wished the king size bed was one complete mattress and alot longer . Im 6 feet and my feet reached the end.

The check in staff was okay. The check out staff was rude argumentative and unprofessional
