Small TV and Wifi very unstable; good if you want to disconnect, but not good if you want to feel home

A bit dated property but clean and friendly. I would stay here again. Free bikes and close to beautiful river for nice bike ride into centre of town

The hotel quite,has amazing reception staff they re so kind and cooperative, but the rooms has insects inside we found 3 insects,breakfast not good

This was not my first time in this hotel and will not be my last. I love everything about this property. The Staff is top. Multilingual, accommodating, friendly and treats you like a VIP. From check in to check out. I recommend you buy the breakfast which features everything you want (vegan, Gluten free as well as local fare and everything in between), and also goes until 11am which is such a lovely feature. You can walk everywhere, and I ran each morning along the Bega. Even in the dark it was completely safe. The rooms are spacious and clean with top toiletries and features. If I could change one thing it will be to have coffee in the room, but there is coffee in the lobby. (Last year when I was there they had coffee in the room so maybe you can ask if this is important to you. I was ok without since it is in the lobby. It was insect season when I was there and there was a big warning to not open my window. BUT, it was so beautiful out that I didnt heed the warning and opened my window and sure enough some insects came in. Also it was warm in the room and the AC was not working and when I turned it on the heat came on (this was why I opened the window), but I am positive if I said something they would have fixed it for me. I just never mentioned it because everything else was perfect. Super fast WiFi in Romania. My company is in Timisoara and so I travel here often and this is the only place I will stay! Late check out is also possible.

Excellent overall, Nespresso machine in room. WiFi didn’t reach room and they gave me a private wireless router. Comfortable beds. Room service breakfast was good.

The hotel was overbooked, and could not honor my reservation. I went to the reception at 13:00 the day of check-in, but was told that check-in did not start before 15:00. Came back to check-in at 15:15, but was told the hotel was overbooked, and that they hadn't received bookings from hotels.com for the last couple of weeks. They had rebooked me to a different hotel, further from the city and with a lower standard. The hotel was also half the price of my room at NH Hotels. NH Hotels still charged me for the full booking. I understand that mishaps can happen, but in cases like this it can be handled way better. I do not understand why they did not proactively contact me earlier, or that they did not tell me about the situation the first time I came around to the reception. I will not book rooms at this hotel in the future, and will rather stay at Hotel Timisoara or Continental (which is also located closer to the city).

Staff and location are pretty good. Clean rooms and very quite place. Walkable distance to Old Town

Everything was excellent at NH Timisoara, clean and very pleasant staff we meet there.

I had a 10 day stay in this hotel and the purpose was officialPros:- good ambience- many options in breakfast- room was clean and well maintained- mini bar had plenty of drinks at all times- walkable distance to city centre, sports bar, and breweryCons- insects in the room due to the park close to it. Air condition was not able so we had to keep our windows closed. It became very hot and I had to go outside to work during the evenings with my laptop instead of the hotel. It was the same for the other two colleagues in the hotel, they too found insects. In the night, it was difficult to get sleep- hospitality can be improved (we can all smile and greet a bit). Let us avoid being grumpy. - one plug point close to the TV was not working (room number 224)- one coffee machine. During breakfast when we had more than 30 people, we had to stand in queue to get coffee. I had to drop the idea few times as there was not time!! I expect atleast 2 coffee machines. Even though there are many good points but the basic aspect of comfortable stay in the room was not there. It is not worth so much money for this stay

I was extra charged for a room- one night- without even knowing or with some explanation. 2 guests from one of our rooms were redirected at check-in to another (lower classified hotel: 3 stars instead of 4) without us being priory notified.The ones at the reception in Timisoara first told us that they have some technical issues with 4 rooms. I;ve asked again why they redirected us a day before they told me that they have overbooked.- At checkout theyve first asked some friends of us to pay for the room. They have called me and Ive settled the issue at the reception. During the following hours as people started to checkout theyve asked us 3 more times to pay for the rooms. Although weve booked rooms for two people, in some rooms we only had 1 towel and we found dust in a room.- When Ive asked to talk with a manager (I;ve called the reception given the fact that Ive already checked out) the girl at the reception told me there is none at work, which is ok, it was Sunday. But when asked for a phone number she gave me an out of order number. I needed to further insist in order to get a phone number. Some people entered our room while we were in it. They told us that the receptionist allocated them the same room.Never before I had so many problems during a stay at a hotel. I have chosen NH because I thought that it will live up to its name. It did not. Not at all. I am waiting for the money back( 144.47 RON) that I do not know what are charged for.

Second room fine, bit with 2 towels - 1 large, 1 small. Next day, the room was not cleaned, even sign was hanged outside the room door. Hotel with potential, but still room for improvement to get to the NH level and customer expectations.

the Air condition was not properly, the manager promises to fix it .meantime send us water and ice cream .

Enjoyed the week, felt relaxed, safe, although struggled with the language, locals not troubled and many spoke good English. Would probably need to try out local transport to check out other areas
