I liked the fact that some change has happened, however the rooms have not been updated in many years, furniture dirty carpets filthy and sticky. It’s been three years since I’ve stayed because hotel ad been going down hill and no sign of caring to improve. Last minute decision to stay recently not expecting much but there was a slight difference. Please update rooms or at least clean furniture and carpet also some repairs. Hotel in great spot though

The fireplace in my room was damaged and I felt unsafe using it. which is one reason I rented that room. My door did not lock correctly and when I tried to open it the next morning, I was stuck in the room for about 5 mins till I could get it open. The railing in the elevator was damaged, and the rugs were dirty

The service of the staff was great, the breakfast choices were better than expected, bed linens were very nice, but the rooms are old and mostly outdated, the mattress seemed old, the couch and chair were old and uncomfortable, were talking decades old in a hotel that is unacceptable. The rooms were clean but my daughter was bothered by rust stains in the bathroom shower and behind the commode, the shower curtain hung down into the bathtub which was gross. The room suite format was the only thing that kept us there, will not go back.

Although, we were pleased with the hotel's location, as well as the complementary breakfast, we noticed that the rugs were dirty and the rug inside the elevator needs to be replaced. Also, most of the times, during the day but most concerning at night, the hotel recepcionist was away from the front desk. Only once when we got late at the hotel, we had to use the hotel key card to get inside the hotel.

There was no blow dryer in the the room. The coffee maker didn’t work. Breakfast buffet great. The hallways and elevator were filthy. This was a subpar experience and not what I’m accustomed to from Marriott. Very disappointing.

It was just average. I've stayed at other Residence Inns, this one seemed a little tired. Mattress soft, furniture worn.

One of the most important things in a hotel is the staff. The Residence Inn in Norwood rates 5 stars for that. Every single person I encountered there was amazing. Friendly, helpful and cheerful. It made our stay so fantastic! From the moment we walked in the door at check-in when Sonya was so welcoming and friendly, to the “breakfast guy” Henry to all the others…thank you. The room, though in need of the soon to happen renovation, was pleasant enough. Clean and perfect for our needs. They have a small gym. Very serviceable…treadmill, weights..The breakfast was fine. Scrambled eggs, sausage, and a great waffle making machine. All in all a great stay. We’ll be back.

Everything was disgustingly dirty in our room. We called three days before our arrival to ask for an extra clean due to allergies. I thing was cleaned at all! Beer cap on floor, dirty, carpet, bathtub rusted out and filthy, tile floors nasty, food all over kitchen appliances and a used water bottle on the counter! WORST place ever!

For the price of the rooms it was awful. Pool and hot tub were not working, was just handed a room key was never told what direction or floor we were on, the room was not cleaned there were what looked like blood stains on the curtains asked manger for new ones was told there were none in premises went to use the pull out sofa no mattress, ask twice for one when one finally arrived someone dragged a nasty stained up one to us , couch had puke on the arm of it, manager pushed us off so we put a call and complaint into corporate.

The location was relatively easy to find. I arrived arounf 6:30 pm, while there were restaurants in the area, you have to go past the hotel to find. It is a divided road so you have to find a traffic light and an area to turn around and then comr back a fair distance in the opposite direction and turn around again, if you head out for food.
The front desk did offer delivery options.
At 11:30 pm, the fire alarm went off due to someone cooking. We stood outside in 18 degree temperatures in our pjs. At 4:30 am the trash truck came and was banging around the dumpsters outside my window. The final mishap was when the wind blew the window next to the bed in and it came crashing down.

The staff was very pleasant. However, a party in the room next door went way too late and we needed to complain to the front desk twice. The room amenities we everything we wanted and expected… just a little worse for wear. The fan in the bathroom made a lot of noise and some wall art was resting on a sill instead of hanging. Perfectly fine for the price we paid and amount of time we were there.

We were very disappointed since we have stayed at other Residence Inn properties in the past with great experience.
If we had spent more time at the property we would have found another place to stay.

I stayed at the hotel but when I arrived it was very dirty. The bathroom Shower had not been cleaned properly, nor the dishes. The sheets has stains still. It was just uncomfortable and I had to find a different hotel to stay at. I called and was told I have to go through hotels for them to confirm my refund
