Very clean and friendly staff.. the beds were wonderful and my friend and I had a great sleep. Would recommend staying here to my friends

Wonderful Inn and Staff

I was looking forward to watching movies but they do not have set up for netflix or on demand The TV in the room volume was set by the hotel and I found it difficult to hear with my hearing aids Very disappointed!

I likes the room and the deep tub. It was clean and comfortable. I didn't like the poor wifi connection. The continental breakfast wasn't much.

Wonderful stay at the Village Inn. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was perfect and clean. Would recommend this Inn!

It is a quaint country “inn” The beds are comfy the quilts are pretty and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. There is also a little free continental breakfast with yogurt, muffins, coffee etc. just enough for a little light bite.

Such a beautiful, unique hotel. Very clean, beautifully decorated rooms. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. I only stayed one night, but I am definitely planning on coming back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend.

The check in was just perfect felt welcome. A beautiful room all the things needed for a perfect experience.

A nice stay. Rooms were clean & linens updated. Breakfast was dismal. Muffins in cellophane packaging, containers of fruit coctail & flavoured yoghurt. Coffee & tea available. We opted to go to a little cafe a few doors down the street called The Nutty Bean Cafe which was great. Reception staff were very pleasant. Very noisy one night from guests blaring music & I had to call the front desk & they quickly dealt with the issue.

Friendly staff, not a cookie cutter hotel, nice area. Just right without charging for a lot of things we won't use.

The room was adequate - good quality for the price. Breakfast was minimal but overall a good stay.

The Village Inn was simply surprisingly lovely! I had to come to Lakefield for business and assumed (so wrongly) that I'd be having to stay in Peterborough however thankfully was told that the Inn existed in time to book there. Our welcome on arrival was quick and friendly. The room was clean, quaint and very well laid out with everything I needed. The second sink near the coffee maker was a really nice touch as it felt more like a kitchen space than when I have to use a bathroom faucet to fill up coffee makers in other hotels. There was a coffee/tea area in the lobby as well. So convenient! The bed was new, pillows and towels were plenty and the only thing that could have improved my stay was if the room's heat and cooling unit had an automatic setting rather than just high/low or off. Seriously more of a little inconvenience than anything but having to hear the fan on constantly wasn't ideal. Otherwise a stellar experience and I'm really looking forward to coming back to stay here and explore the town a little more in the warm weather now!

Great location, walking distance to shops akd restaurants. Check in was quick and friendly . Room was spotless, very comfortable beds!
