Good location, hotel in desperate need of remodelling, staff from the communist era still working there , no wallet parking , not recommend Try to find a better one

Efficient and friendly front desk, extended and tasty breakfast choices, convenient location.

The property is in a beautiful location. The upgrades are appropriate. The only thing I would like to mention is that there is a step between the bed area and the table and chairs by the window which is very tricky and I fell hurting my knee and shoulder. The step is not visible at all as it blends in with the design of the carpet . I strongly recommend making the step more noticeable to prevent serious injury to elderly clients.

Staff is horrendous -extremely ruud. Breakfast was often running empty and they would not refill, and quality of producys was too low for a 5 stats hotel.

Old hotel, could be much nicer. Reception staff is fine, some of the restaurant staff is really no good. Too many old people are working here and I have nothing against old people. It is just when it comes to hospitality and hotels, the old people gets their salary and they lost their “appetite to serve” long ago… and it shows. My room was cleaned and then they left only one towel in the room. There are no paperwork in the rooms, no menu, no TV guide, no hotel book with services, absolutely nothing! With the exception of cheese, breakfast is quite low quality for a 5 star hotel. It used to be a 5 star hotel many years ago, it is not more then 4 now!

Location is very good , great breakfast included. But pool and spa were closed for uncertain period of time and property didn’t notify us.

Beautiful hotel and beautiful views of the city (6th floor view). Amazing stay. Would definitely visit again!

Several pros: excellent position next to city centre and reception service (got both early checkin and late checkout, superior floor - thanks a lot!), clean room, very good breakfast, great pool. Few cons and recommendations: not a five-star hotel for sure. standard rooms pretty outdated, uncomfortable pillows, no iron board. lack of quality materials on the spa area (parquet close to elevators is the cheapest you can buy, wet sauna is unconfy and lacks water hose to clean chairs etc). parking pretty expensive too.

The rooms although advertised as “soundproof” are definitely not. I could hear people walking around on the floor above me as well as people in adjacent rooms. The beds were extremely firm but a good size. The breakfast in the morning was great. Lots of options to choose from with fresh coffee and juice.

The reception staff went above and beyond to assist us. We had to move to the hotel last minute as my daughter fractured her ankle. Caring and friendly staff.

The balcony view was amazing! We saw the mountains, a beautiful, crisp sunny morning view of a jewel city!

Great location in the heart of old town Good breakfast buffet Everything else beyond comprehension: the condition of the property hasn't changed since the building was constructed in 1970th or 1980th. Very dirty carpets, disgusting furniture, pillows made of concrete, no power outlets in rooms etc. It's not clear why a large city like Brasov can't afford a decent downtown hotel. No ac since the AC is turned off in the entire building!!! Plus, 30 bucks per parking is a rip off, it isn't even a vallet. Nobody would greet at the door or help with the luggage to the room. We had to fight for room cleaning and by the end of the day (11pm) only 1 room out of 2 received new towels and no shampoo. Do not recommend.

Bucatarie foarte buna, dar personalul de servire in Restaurant este cu totul insuficient. La micul dejun mesele nu se debaraseaza, reaprovizionarea bufetului este foarte lenta in conditiile in care numarul de turisti este foarte mare. Platoul cu pepene rosu este mereu gol, apa de ceai se termina repede si este inlocuita cu alta rece. In general, daca intri in timpul zilei in Restaurant ai toate sansele sa nu fii remarcat, nu vezi pe cineva, nu te vede cineva.

Amazing views of the Old Town from the rooms, very responsive staff. There were problems of intermittent hot water, internet, and electricity due to a power outage in the entire zone. The hotel compensated us for this inconvenience.

The facility, location, breakfast are all highly recommended. Beautiful park is right in front of it so you can also take a walk there too. The only low point is about parking, I expected the free parking but it was not, around 3 RON (1EUR) per hour. But generally, I really loved this place.

Check in went really well the young guy at the desk was very nice and professional. The hotel is beautiful, and as I requested they gave me a room with a pretty good view! The second morning I stayed there, I was half way into my breakfast, as a matter of fact I was getting my second cup of cafe, when one of the servers asked me out loud what my room number was and told me I hadn’t paid, I kindly told her breakfast was included in my reservation, she did not let me get back to my seat before following me and speaking loudly about how I haven’t paid and I need to pay. The problem I have is I am paying almost 200usd to stay per night, even if breakfast was not included, she was acting as if I was trying to steal a breakfast from the hotel. That service really turned me off, after the lady charged my room, I ended my breakfast before finishing so I could go get my phone from my room to show an email that I had received prior to checking in saying “breakfast is the only service I had with my reservation” at the end I was not charged, but the lady did not as much as apologize for her mistake. That was enough to make me end my stay there 2 nights early knowing I would not be refunded.
