Nice to have kitchen facilities. Bathroom sink needed some plumbing repair.

Ok place well located for the beach

This hotel is close to the boardwalk but it was very lackluster. The hotel room smelled like a basement, hair was on the bed and the bathroom definitely seen better days. I had to go to Walmart to purchase shower cleaner and Lysol. Had to wipe down everything thoroughly. The bed was hard and some of the worst sleep I had in my life. Parking lot is tiny. But the convenient factor is right near the end of the boardwalk and a pool.

Staff at front desk exceptionally nice. Great service. Love the atmosphere. Nice getaway and safe and quiet.

Everything was great

I was shocked by the condition of the property. At some point upgrades were made, but they are definitely needed again. The cheap laminate floor is peeling. Wall patches are very visible (plywood nailed to wall). The door was possibly the original from 1960. The main ceiling light was simply removed with hardware visible. The bathroom was definitely from 1960. The sink was stained and the faucets were corroded. The linens were clean and beds comfortable, but we never got maid service on our 2-night stay. We also found a pair of abandoned shoes in the room. And the room STANK! There was no coffee maker and the lobby never bothered to make any while we were there...the coffee area was available but unstocked. We were so close to the beach and not far from the boardwalk we enjoyed the pool and did all the things we wanted to do. I would definitely stay there again especially for a short trip to the beach

It was a great trip, room was good not outstanding. A block away from the beach, would have liked if the walk to the beach was closer. Very small pool. Not made for adults, perfect for kids. Overall great place to stay. Very affordable. That’s a great plus

This property is a complete disgrace. They date and switch rooms and charge you more money. I was told I was getting a penthouse suite for additional fees because the first room that I got which is called a two bedroom suite is not a bedroom. It’s a bedroom and a sofa with no doors. I called this facility. Realizing the mistake I was told I was supposed to get the penthouse which is what I needed to accommodate a closed door bedroom. I was told that was additional monies which we paid. My niece got there before me because of the family emergency and I was coming the next day which we notified the hotel of that was fine. She’s an adult when she got there two bedroom for the additional monies that they charge me for, it was in the middle of the heatwave on Friday night excruciating hot. We were supposed to be going to a beachfront resort place was disgustingly dirty so we had to use all the towels to sop up the water fans wasn’t working correction AC is working it just doesn’t get cold , when we try to leave, we were here for a big event which was already happening and we spent hours trying to get this fixed two days of that we were refunded on the Finally, after getting Expedia and the insurance company involved, they were willing to return the nights that we didn’t stay because of all these conditions We had to re-book a room getting a refund for the entire trip, which we should’ve Hoping that we get this back in someway from either Expedia or the insurance.

For a short 2-3 day trip is a good motel. It just had a slight smell of mold but I’ve been to worse. The floors were slippery but I didn’t mind as long as we were all wearing shoes/slippers. The pool was great my kids ages 14,8,7 really enjoyed it and it’s very close to the beach. You get what you pay here.

Good

Place hasn’t been updated since 50’s. Two people couldn’t stand between end of bed & TV stand without turning sideways. Musty, kindergarten toilet & no hand railing in bath tub. Not a comfortable chair to sit in.

This motel was very convenient for us as it was very close to a lot of places we were going and didn’t have to drive a lot, there’s many food options and the beach isn’t far at all either, the pool was a plus as well! Just some things to note was that our lightbulb was out in our room lamp and we couldn’t close the bathroom door because the bed was too close and in the way . Other than that everything was good and we will be happy to stay again in the future!

Needs work

The whole experience was lovely. The beds were springing and not really great for 2 to sleep together but overall everything was great!

The room was fine and the beds were comfortable, however, the bathroom sink was kind of nasty. The faucets were so old and cruddy that I hated touching them when I had to wash my hands and/or brush my teeth. Our room was on the backside of the hotel and the office was dingy and dark. The refrigerator didn’t work well and had frost build up in the small compartment that was the freezer.

We stayed there overnight room 217.We were given 2 sets of keys,but only 1 was working(i don't know what the 2nd key was for)On check out day we had to call the receptionist to help us out because our room door won't open. The place was clean but definitely old. One of the bed in our room was off and the blinds was damaged.You could also hear people screaming outside.

Classic Wildwood Crest motel. Clean and Friendly. Room had king bed, kitchenette, couch and outside seating. 1 Block off the beach made getting to the boardwalk easy. Nearby restaurants and deli/convenient stores. The area has many similar 50/60's motels, so the area has a unique feel. Don't look for Big Chain Hotel features. Enjoy a "down the shore" experience.

It was ok

Upon checkin the gentleman was just ok. He was not very welcoming. All he said was that there was parking in the back by our room and to park our car there. The room itself was fairly clean but not so much the bathroom. The bathroom was exceptionally small, with the door opening into the toilet. There was a lot of rust on the fixtures in the bathroom sink and tub. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water, but the drain went down really slow, which left us standing in 3 inches of dirty water. There was sand left in the bathtub from previous guests. There is limited lighting in the outer room. One small lamp on a night stand and a dim overhead light in the kitchenette area. The blinds on the window could not be opened to let in more daylight. The parking lots were a nightmare. If you weren't parked on the street side of the 200 numbered rooms, you had to back out of the lot, hoping that you didn't hit another parked car or the building itself. The garbage cans outside were overflowing and never emptied while we were there. We were never told that you had to request housekeeping, which we opted out of by observing the housekeeping crew. Too much fooling around between each other. Overall, we would never stay there again.😒
