Great location to the River walk, Canal street and short walk to Bourbon st. Safe and quiet. This Suite was quite stylish with art and decor. Hotel was accommodating to us checking a bit early. Short walk to great food and night life. Plenty of space for our party of 6. The city was under a water boil alert and the shower smelled a bit like sulfur. Other than that Perfect stay

Our room was amazing! The roof top view is really pretty. The staff are ver nice and knowledgeable. They have 24 hour security with is awesome and a peron in yhe front for tours.

You have pictures online that dont support your property in new orleans. I was supposed to have a balcony room and have the street view but it was not available. We were supposed to be able to view the street from the hotel on the roof but that was not the case as well. None of the people in our party were able to get what they booked because the online pictures were false advertising. I was not satisfied with my stay at all.

Very amazing from beginning to end. Ms. Charmaine and Will went over and beyond to make sure that our stay was exceptional!! We had a one-bedroom suite with a balcony. The room was very unique, with a New Orleans twist to it, which made our stay that much more enjoyable and very spacious and comfortable. It came with a kitchenette, which was a bonus! The hotel is conveniently located fight off of Canal Street, so it is in walking distance to pretty much everything (restaurants, Bourbon Street, Street Cars, Casino, and Shopping stores, including a 24-hour store right next door and right across the street on Canal St.).

My family and I enjoyed our one night stay here! We will definitely be back for a longer stay. The suite was roomy and very nicely decorated. Excellent location 10/10

Check in was not available until 5:30pm, however the staff knocked on our door at 10:30am the day of check out. The shower was not clean in the corners, they had a thick orange gunk that I wiped up with a towel. The grout is badly dirty and the toilets have a yellow line stain that cannot be wiped off. There is a morning staff that was rude to my husband at check in Sunday around 3pm. My check in after 4 was very nice. The next day I tried to text for clean towels and a blanket, but when I did not recieve a message back I went in person. I am sure I encountered the same lady as my husband did the day before. She was rude and brash. I complained there was no hot water in the unit and she had no response. This employee is horrible for this hotel. The condo was nicely decorated, and the balcony was large and roomy.

My stay was amazing in every way!!! From the front desk being personal and relatable to the quick fix when we had an issue with our room! We were literally taken to an even better room immediately! Will was so so kind! He did not want us to carry a single bag of our own. He is a gem!!! I can not wait to come back!!!

Overall spacious place for family of 5 to stay. The unit is basically an attic with very few small windows so not much of a view. Even though the AC was on most of the time, being the attic temperature never reached below 73 F so a bit warm at night to sleep well. There was a ceiling fan in master bedroom which helped some. Full kitchen was a plus. The lighting in the rooms was a bit dim so asked for extra lamp. Staff was very nice and place felt very safe.

We had an issue with the shower but Rachel, the GM, was very responsive and took care of the issue immediately and made sure we were fairly compensated for the issue.

The hotel location was fantastic. Close to walk to Bourbon Street and all the delicious restaurants in the area. The hotel was beautiful and decorated super neat. Very clean and comfortable. All of their staff was super helpful and friendly. It was especially nice having the large suite to accommodate our large family with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, pull out sofa and kitchen! Price is very decent too. We loved it and would book BlueGreen again!

A great couples trip to NOLA. We were able to park on the street in front of the hotel and didn’t have to pay for parking our entire stay. The hotel was located conveniently to EVERYTHING!! So you can walk around or take the trolley. The staff was awesome, nice and helpful. We loved our stay and would stay again.

I loved that it was a little apartment setting and not your average hotel room. It was very clean, artsy, homey. I loved staying here and will definitely be staying here again.

Nice room for 1 night with 6 people!! Area is convenient. Sorroundings at night little noisy. But overall nice stay!

Parking was the only downfall

Close enough to French Quarter to be able to walk to everything but far enough away to miss the crowds and some (not all) of the noise. Most of the staff was super helpful and accommodating. There were 3 of us and it was wonderful to have 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms.

Absolutely loved the property! Room was really clean. All employees were really friendly and helpful! I highly recommend the La Pension!

The room was very comfortable and nice to return daily after activities. The room was also different than any other room I’ve ever stood at in a hotel in a wonderful way. I love the artistic appeal of the room and would love to stay there again in the near future.

Walking distance to many dining options, tours and shopping!

I had recently booked this property to celebrate my 50th birthday. Unfortunately, I was hospitalized 4 days before I was supposed to arrive. I contacted Expedia and they were able to get me a credit for my airfare from United. But Bluegreen Vacations La Pension in New Orleans refused to even entertain the idea of providing a different booking date. Nor would they consider a refund. I volunteered to provide any medical documentation to prove that the cancellation was indeed due to a medical emergency. But I never heard back to see if that could be an option. I contacted the corporate office and left a voicemail and an email. Still, no response. So needless to say, we are out a significance amount of money. I will reschedule my trip to New Orleans, but I will never book there or at any of the other properties that they have.

Let’s start with the good: the staff here is very nice, and the location is fantastic in terms of being central. You’re next to a 24hr convenience store and ATM, a block into the French Quarter and walkable to all of that, and a block from Canal Street for easy Uber rides without having to make them drive into the Quarter. The rooms are clean, and have a cute little “living room” area and kitchenette with microwave, sink, and fridge. But the Queen beds are a bit small — definitely hard with my 6’5” husband. And there’s a small desk on one side of the bed, when 2 night tables would be more useful (so both people could put a water by the bed, for example). The beds are fine in terms of comfort — although the pillows do feel more like hard cotton balls than the ones you get at a nice hotel. The biggest complaint I had was the noise. The photos online show this place as being on a quiet side street with pretty balconies facing the street. Our room faced the alley, was always dark (and yes I know you don’t spend your day in the room, but it’s nice to wake up to light) — and had the loudest alley noise at 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am, etc. Garbage trucks, some sort of other trucks, more garbage trucks, workers rolling trash cans into the alley to dump bottles, etc. One of the hardest times I’ve had sleeping in New Orleans in 10 years of coming here unfortunately.

My stay at this hotel was great! It was clean, quite, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Best place to stay in the quarter. Far enough that it was quiet at night, but close enough to enjoy within a few blocks. Public transportation only a block away.
