A nice place for a short stay.

When we arrived and checked in we were greeted at the front desk by a very professional friendly gentleman, named Jay. Upon entering the room however, the bathroom had black mold and mildew in the shower/tub tiles and bathroom. We called Jay at the front desk and he came to look at the room with someone from housekeeping. Housekeeping was extremely rude and denied that the black mold was mildew or mold. We asked her what the black "mold" was then, since the caulking was not white and it smelled of mildew, and she said it was fine and was very angry at us. The front desk manager, Jay however gave us another room immediately which was clean and comfortable. We definitely would have left had it not been for changing our room. We booked the Comfort Inn based on reviews for cleanliness.......however we did not get that experience and felt very awkward getting reprimanded by under-par housekeeping. Jay saved our stay.

The staff were incredibly kind and courteous. The facility was undergoing construction - understandable. But the pictures are very deceiving. The hotel is quite worn and needs a facelift. The room was clean - a major bonus. But the entrance - parking was not ideal. An old scrapped sign near the entrance on the ground. You could hear the folks above your room walking around. Overall, it did the job. The staff again was very cordial. But would probably look elsewhere next time.

Too old

We love the staff at this Comfort Suites! From the front desk staff to housekeeping to breakfast management, they are all pleasant, kind and helpful. There were a few glitches: elevator was having issues briefly, but serviced right away, and the AC/Heat & fan unit was a bit loud. That said, the room itself is very soundproof, unlike the more expensive Hampton down the street. Also could use better landscaping around the entrance to the property. Comfort is positioned in a very busy area, and driving in and out can be difficult with the somewhat obstructed view of oncoming traffic. Still, when we are back home to visit family, it is a very comfortable and affordable place to spend the night.

Our room was right next to the side exit door. We were given a handicap room. Hated the bathroom shower, water flooded the bathroom floor. Did not have the movie channels like the guide listed.

Very nice place super easy to get in and away. Great grill joint behind the place best pizza on the planet.

While the hotel is somewhat in need of updating, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. My daughter had a basketball tournament in town and she and I stayed there. Front desk staff and breakfast attendant were all friendly and accommodating. We would absolute stay again!

Inside is nicely remodeled. The outside needs some work as we thought it was closed.

Way overpriced for what the property has to offer. Smelly rooms, moldy bathroom and water bottles for sale when you pay $200 per night. Stay away!!

This was a good stay. The location is convenient and a good price/value. Also, the property is small and intimate. Traffic is very light and quiet. Immunities are limited and rooms are dated. We have stayed here several times to visit family in Monroeville.

Great stay

I found the overall stay to be exceptional considering the price. I really liked the fact that the building was quiet at night and that the hotel was NOT PET FRIENDLY!

The rooms were horrible and the washroom flush is broken and bathroom is wet and there were no cleanliness and I have pictures of the state of the bathrooms. Besides they have given us handicap room
