The staff went the extra mile. I accidently left my ipad there as it had fallen behind the headboard. I called the hotel receptionist. She immediately went up and got the ipad and then mailed it to me! Thank you.

The elevator was out of service but they did have someone to help you with your bags if needed. The room smelled really musty while we were there. I had to go buy some air freshener to spray in the room. One day when returning from our outing there was a man sleeping in the stairwell on the second floor. They did replace the towels daily and fix the beds. The breakfast was decent but pretty basic.

The woman who checked us in was nice/friendly. I was HIGHLY ANNOYED, tho, that 1) The ice machine on first floor doesn't ALWAYS work - AND didn't the two separate times and days I tried. Therefore, had to go upstairs. 2)There is NOT ONE wine opener or bottle opener in the ENTIRE HOTEL. THAT IS RIDICULOUS!!! There NEEDS to be at least ONE that be used at front desk. I think we are long since the Prohibition Era.
I am also annoyed about not being able to get juice or milk about 9:07 when I walked the 15-20 feet from my room to eating area. Tho w 7 or 8 cars besides ours when I returned night of stay I guess there isn't need to put much out or leave a minute passes 9. My own fault, but I feel like the juice machine, at the VERY LEAST, could still be used maybe til 10, which is ONLY an hour before checkout. Not like hotel is packed and cleaning up quickly for next afternoons arrivals is something this location really needs to worry about much.
Overall, can't beat it for the $90 I paid after taxes, etc. You usually get what you pay for, but def GREAT and better than a $90 hotel stay. Not getting what you would for $400 Four Seasons standard rm cost per night + $40 parking and def not receiving Super 8 or Motel 6 lowest tier either.
Other than my two tiny issues, it's great. Right off 35 and Valero (pretty sure), that I walked twice after returning to room in evening, is literally next door and open til midnight.

The elevator was not working. I had with me an elderly person with a disability and a baby with a stroller. I had to carry everything up the stairs, because the room they gave me was on the third floor. When I got to the room it smelled very bad. The bathroom was dirty, the refrigerator didn't work and smelled very bad, the bed sheets were dirty and the window curtains were torn. I would like my money refunded.

For the price point this hotel fell very very short of expectations. We're usually not inclined to write reviews but felt the need as this hotel had no working elevator and put us on the 3rd floor. We were not advised of this until after we had booked our room. The cleanliness of this hotel was not good. The room was dirty, the stairwells were filthy and of the 3 lamps in our room, only 1 had a lightbulb in the socket. So the room was not only dark but dingy. Not likely to book another LaQuinta hotel in the future, not if this is what they offer for accommodations.

The carpet was dirty. The curtain had a large tear in it. The bed smelled like pee. When I put on some heat it smelled like a fire was brewing. No kleenex in the kleenex box. The men that was working around eleven o'clock today was very rude and unprofessional. I had to call and speak with him on 2 separate occasions.And both times he provided very poor customer service.
The hotel itself is old and dated .smells of mold. The elevator does not work and it made it very inconvenient. They gave us a conjoined room that the door does not lock between the 2 rooms. And we only needed one room, so that's definitely a safety issue. The girl in the evening at Check-in never made eye contact with us and was also unfriendly and lacked customer service skills. The ruin bathrooms are dirty overall.It's just a gross feeling and I will not recommend this hotel.Nor will I ever stay here again. We were desperate for a place to stand had. We had other options. We definitely would not have stayed here after seeing the conditions and the customer service that we experienced.

I booked for two nights but i left after the first night. Upon arrival the elevator wasnt working. The room smelled like cigarettes and mold i asked for a non smoking room. Abd there was a wet spot on the carpet coming from by the bed ,mind you the ac unit wasnt near it and there was no water on the floor from the bathrom. I went to the front desk told her my problem and she changed me to a different room and again the new room smelled much more like mold. I was over it and left the next morning in fear of my family getting sick from the smell.
