The front desk staff never smiled, was curt, had tone, was not helpful, and generally unpleasant. The bathroom had no exhaust fan. The air-conditioning worked well, but the room was damp and clammy. There were dead/dying cockroaches in the kitchen cabinets, and there was a smell of cigarettes and marijuana in the halls, stairwell, and elevator. We will not be back.

Even though I paid for and booked 4 nights at this property, the day of my arrival, I was notified by the property manager that my room was not available b/c the hotel was oversold. My ONLY option was to take a room at their sister property which was NOT comparable and was a 1 at best. The lady at the desk was super nice and helpful but my room did not have a kitchenette and the food I brought with me went to waste if I could not microwave it. The hotel was old, the rooms were dirty and there were zero amenities. I did get a break on price but only because I asked for it. I would not recommend this hotel chain.

The staff was nice, after we were given a horrible room on the first floor with bad smell we were given a room in the second floor that was cleaner. Not super clean, but better. We stayed for a night and it was fine but any longer isn’t ideal. Definitely not a “nice” hotel but manageable if you are flexible. Quite price for what we got as well. 150ish dollars for a 2/5 star spot 17 from PCB

I love how the property is in close proximity to a giant gas station with everything you need in it. However the scent in the room was really wet smelling, like mildew smell. But other than that that hotel was good

Property always had people loitering in parking lot all hours of day and night. The back door was always propped open despite me closing numerous times. There weren’t any toiletries in the room and I had to ask the front desk to provide. I was in the handicapped room and the shower chair wouldn’t even lower it was rusted and covered in mold/mildew

Exceeded expectations

The halls and the room smelled. We were placed in a handicapped room (not requested) and had trouble with the shower. The toilet was not anchored to the floor and the toilet seat was broken. It slid every time someone sat down. The handle on the kitchenette sink was broken. The fridge was rusty as well.

Its literally just an ok place to stay for a couple of days. It could have been nicer looking. Also I was questioned on why I needed clean towels which was irritating and weird.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. They told me where I could find a pool to use at an adjacent property. I didn't realize this place didn't have a swimming pool.

The staff seemed rude and seemed to have attitude. Asked for a clean towel and was questioned for it. Left my "throw" in the hotel room and when I called back for it no one said they had ever seen it. However, I remember leaving it on the bed and forgot to go back for it. People were constantly hanging out around the hotel, which made me feel uneasy. When initially arriving told the clerk that the oval lights with the globe was not working (they were, the light switch worked the opposite way) and the clerk snapped and popped her lips.

The bathroom had mold growing up the wall outside the shower. The safety bar in the shower came out of the wall into my hand. We were informed upon check in there was a $50 deposit for incidentals that was not conveyed prior to arrival. Hallways were hot and smelly Would not recommend this property

Pros; the room was spacious and the little kitchen area is very convenient. Cons; we stayed for 3 nights and there was no housekeeping services in our room, not at all even though we asked the housekeeper to, she only change the towels.

The server Deborah was excellent. She had a smile each day I saw her. She made me feel welcome to the city. Her hospitality was unmatched.

I was not able to actually stay at the hotel. My reservation was apparently cancelled, and I was never notified by either Expedia or the hotel itself. I arrived in town only to find I actually had no hotel room, and then had to drive around for several hours to find a place to stay. I am EXTREMELY displeased with this situation. As of this moment I plan to NEVER use Expedia again. I plan to tell anyone who will listen that reservations made on Expedia are not trustworthy. I plan to post on all of my social media accounts that a person has no real way to rectify a situation like this if it should happen to them. I may wait to see if I can get any sort of response about this situation from any real person as opposed to simple automated emails from Expedia. I'll be willing to bet that I will never hear from an actual customer representative. If so, both Expedia and the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel have seen the last of my money, as I will never use either of them again.

This was a trip from hell. The woman at the desk was the ONLY redeeming quality -- she did everything to rectify our problems. We were in a first-floor handicap room which means a LOT of space. Furnishings were adequate, the bed (just a metal frame and mattress) was terrible. The noise is unbearable in the room. The sink counter was so sticky that my hand stuck to it and there was an imprint of a can that showed it was never wiped clean. Children were running in the 2nd floor hall and it sounded like someone was bouncing bowling balls. A guest in the adjacent room sounded like he was having very good sex which sounded like it was right in our room. There is a deep drop off the highway that just about takes off the front end of a car (there are so many dig spots in the asphalt it is difficult to count). The shower water accumulates on the bathroom floor and does not drain well -- remember I said this was a handicap room. And finally, you don't have the rating that states "will never stay in this hotel again."

My trip was a last minute getaway due to a death in the family. After booking the room via hotels.com I went back and started reading the reviews, by the time we made it to the hotel I was extremely worried that we would be staying in a roach infested place. However, our room had no bugs what so ever. The young lady at check in was very nice and helpful. She explained that our room was not ready for check in but we could have a different set up which was fine. After getting into our room on the 4th floor and checking it out we were pleased with it, we did notice a list on the counter telling us what items were provided and that we would be charged if they were missing so my husband made sure that night to let the gentleman at the front counter know that some of the items on the list were not in our room and he didn't want us to be charged for them. The gentleman just shook his head ok. After coming back to the room Friday night we realized that our AC was not cooling the room down like we thought it should, we had the air on 60 and we were still hot (my house stays on 72 and we are cool). The next morning we got up to leave and noticed we did not have a do not disturb sign so we told the gentleman (same from night before) at the front desk to please tell the cleaning crew not to enter our room, he stated that he would notate it and let them know. Needless to say when we came back we realized that they had come into our room. Will not be going back ever!!!
