This place is completely remodeled and looks great. Parking couldn't be better and it's 20 steps from a great bar and restaurant. We love the pool and it's right on the water. Great views.

The VIP is for a cocktail each. Nothing we liked .you had 2 choices. Not sure what any VIP service was.

This was a nice quiet and so close to the beach distance. We also had access to their pool. Dinning wise there was option for that. Overall we had a wonderful time and experience. We stood there for 3 night 4 days. And will consider coming back

The room was comfortable and clean and close to the beach. Parking was convenient and free. Pete's upper deck was a great place to eat and chill, rain or shine, and i liked the live music. Walking to the beach was quick and easy.
The only thing that wasn't ideal was the pool was too warm, and the pool/hot tub area closed at 8pm....nobody was using the pool but i would have liked to after the sun came down.

Had a wonderful stay. Very nice beach hotel on the marina side with a great view of the canals. Love the elevated restaurant/ bar with water view and live music. Rooms have a renovated modern beach design and very spacious. Great location!! Will definitely be back!

We live in Ft Myers and a staycation at Matanzas is a family favorite. We can go by boat, the restaurant and or upstairs bar is great, and it’s always very clean. Our last was the weekend right before Hurricane Ian hit and devastated FMB. We were happy to get back there.

Lovely quiet place trying to recover from the hurricane. Great location for walking to other restaurants/bars. My only complaint is you have to bring your towels to the office to get new ones..i wish there was away you could just bag them and exchange them outside your room. I understand maid service is limited to keep cost down..but in the morning when you are trying to start your day clean towels would be nice. Don't let the towel thing stop you from visiting this lovely place right on the canal. Perfect for those aren't a fan of sand. Sitting by pool is my idea of a perfect vacation. Steps away from restaurant/bar..you never have to leave..Lol.

Lovely place . We a going back soon. walkable to the beach and the place felt very peaceful. We liked having restaurants walking distance as well. Room was nice. I felt like a beach cottage.

Everything was as advertised! Clean and very convenient to beach and beach life! Beds are comfortable and area is safe and quiet! Beautiful clean pool, laundry facilities and restaurant on site! We rented a pontoon boat right around the corner and we were able to dock in front of our room! 3 minutes walk to beach and time square… with kids! Would definitely recommend and come back!!!

I opted for the less expensive room with 2 queen beds. The photo showed a quiet tropical scene, but what we actually got was a room on the roadside facing the street. The area is very busy as you would imagine, not crazy loud or anything, but not what I expected.
If you are looking for a serene tropical setting, this isn't it. For what it was and where it is it was nice. Very clean and friendly staff.
