Everyone made me so welcoming, and all the staff are amazing and very helpful. Would recommend this hotel and def coming back to stay when I’m in Oslo soon.

Good location. Friendly staff. Room was quite small but fine. Bathroom good. Bit strange it had reading lights beside the bed but they only worked if you have all the lights on in the room. Great included breakfast. Evening meal a good bonus. The BIG negative was the very loud music playing till 3am at one point I thought Justin Bieber was in my room it was so loud. Would I recommend this hotel, yes but ask for a high room away from the noise. Zero sleep for me.

Is a great location, close to everything!

This was the first hotel we stayed in on our 10-day trek through Norway. Staff were very nice and helpful when we had questions. The room was very clean and modern! This hotel is perfectly located near enough to touristy attractions by foot or via the super convenient public transit in Oslo.

Very noisy outside. Was very hot in the room (no AC) so had to open window for any ventilation. Outside, it was like a new years eve party until 3:30 am both nights! We heard glass being broken and just non-stop parties.

Old hotel in need of renovation. The first room they gave us was dark and lights did not work properly so they moved us to a nicer room. The hotel was near the train station good for moving around but the area is dirty and not so nice. Breakfast was ok

Very special breakfast.

We were extremely happy with our stay at this hotel. Best breakfast of 4 weeks touring holiday. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved the added bonus of afternoon tea and dinner meal. The food quality and variety was great. Saved us worrying about where to go for dinner.

If you need a place to lay your head and a great location, the price is right with this hotel. Staff was super helpful as well.

This was the most awful hotel I have EVER stayed at, mind you, I travel full time for my career. The room overlooked a disgusting area, that is blocked off in main area windows…the whole place felt dirty and old. As well the room had NOWHERE to put a full size suitcase other than your bed or the floor. The elevators were both out intermittently over my 1 day stay there. The rooms were dark & smelled of smoke.Even the lobby, where I hung out to get away from my room was filthy & unkempt.

Fabulous time enjoyed.. staff very professional and welcoming, food great, good location, lovely room.. we would definitely stay here again..

Great art deco hotel. Great breakfast and dinner included in the price. Fantastic value.

The hotel is an easy walk from the train station where you arrive from the airport. Breakfast was generous. Evening meals varied in quality, but were very convenient, especially, the first night when you arrive jet lagged and exhausted. Serving staff for the dinners were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was generous in size with a sitting room and balcony.

Tea and cake at 3, easy supper - salads (very good), also soup, pasta and meatballs. Room needed less lights on at night though I liked the sheep on the wall!

I think this was one of my favorite hotels from the last few years. The location was right near the train station and the opera house. (although don’t follow the maps on an iPhone, it brought us down a back alley.) The rooms were nice and clean, and they even upgraded us and left flowers for me! The staff went above and beyond, without getting in our way. But the best selling point of this hotel was completely absolutely all of the food, breakfast could have fed us for the entire day alone, but there was also afternoon snack as well as a “light supper. I don’t know who that would be light for, because we were all stuffed. And we’re not talking fries or burgers, but quality tasty food. ( even good salad and soup options !) Can’t say enough, I would definitely stay here again!

The room was quite small but clean, warm and functional. The bath was great! There is no kettle in the room but a free coffee machine in reception whenever you want it. The breakfast was amazing - everything and more you could want. Fika at 3pm is a piece of cake and access to the coffee machine in the lounge and the evening meal was plentiful - always a soup starter, choice of main and 3 different salads and bread. It really saves a lot of money being half board in a capital city. Staff were friendly, our only issue was that on one day we wanted to order a packed lunch which is advertised at breakfast but 2 members of reception staff said they didn't know anything about it/ it was not possible. We just went and got food for our trip at the 7/11 shop on the corner so not really a big problem. Overall a 5 * stay.

Well located comfortable loved the circular lobby and free coffees/teas. Sumptuous breakfasts and light evening meals included were delicious. Cleaning on request. If I had one caveat room lighting could be brighter. I would stay again.

Food options were very good except that breakfast only started at 8am(too late). Quite a noisy neighbourhood.

Room was compact but had everything you need- the breakfast exceeded my expectation- the staff were friendly and efficient, located 3 minutes walk from main rail station I will choose this hotel for future Oslo visits

Nice hotel in a very strategic locaton close to the centre. Nice room and bathroom. A real and bigger wardrobe would be more appreciated. The only "issue" is that there were no amenities like cotton buds and/or body lotion etc. inside the room. In a 4-star hotel they would be great to have. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices of quality food for both salty and sweet taste. Good and quite well equipped gym even if it is underground with no windows - maybe a bit claustrophobic but ok :)

Hotel in great location walking distance from Oslo central station and nearby tourist attractions. Fantastic breakfast choices and a great dinner buffet included in the price. The downside of it was being rated as a 4 star hotel had minimal standard of any hotel fot the price being chargefd like the lack of any bottle of water in the room. If you arrive in the evening and nearby supermarket being closed and you need drinking water, then you are stuck till next day. Also if you plan to leave your luggage in the storage, it will be at your own risk as others will have access to storage and can easily walk out with your luggage without any proper checks in place by the receptionist. They literally let anyone walk in the storage as there are no tags of your room number or your name. Room is clean so is the hotel

The breakfast buffet was incredible and the option to do a light dinner and fika was great for us. The hotel offers some great options for self service, but the staff is fantastic if you need more help. We loved all the art in the lobby, would have loved to see a show at the theater if we had timed our visit to coincidence with a show. The location was also very convenient.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had an enormous choice of delicious options and the afternoon tea and cake and dinner were also excellent.

We arrived early in the morning and was lucky to be served by Dag who was the most hospitable staff you can ever find. We managed to settle down earlier with his kind assistance and this made alot of difference for the the rest of the day. Thank you for the great service rendered! Aside to the great staff we have met, the hotel location is very close to the train station and it is easy to access various tourist attractions such as the Vigeland Park, the opera house from the hotel. The room was clean and had adequate facilities. We stayed for 1 night so that was just sufficient for a good night's stay. We didn't managed to try the full board dinner but the breakfast was great. There was a good spread of food which was better than the breakfast from previous hotel chains we have stayed in. Overall, it was a value for money place to stay with great breakfast, convenient location and good service.
