Location is very good-walking distance to the city-center. The garden is amazing. Pool looks nice (I had no time to use it).
But the bed in our room (room 20) must be repaired/replaced the bed was damaged and made us feel very tired in the morning. We didn’t sleep well.
And better change the coffee supplier. Select a better coffee. It is so nice to have a coffee in your garden.

The hotel was great for an overnight stay, well maintained and comfortable. It is basic in construction, but clean. The pool was lovely to sit beside, but with swimming restricted to before 8pm we didn’t get a chance. Beds were comfy and bathrooms fine, a bit small and one room had glass doors and walls to the bathroom which isn’t much fun if you’re sharing a room. Otherwise it was great.

An amazing hotel short walk from city centre and river. Staff are so attentive, helpful and happy - nothing is too much bother. Lovely restaurant and good value menu. Pool area is quiet, clean and very relaxing. Our 3rd visit to this hotel since 2012 and nothing changes.

Beautiful grounds and decor in the main areas. Restaurant is delicious, busy, and well priced. Pool is incredible. Rooms are a bit dated but the price point is perfect for the location and overall grounds make you feel like you’re in a palace.

Parking was on the stree in front of the hotel, only few places but with security camera. Hotel is very nice and cozy. Very clean room and confortable bed. Restaurant offered complementary drinks and the food is traditional and very tasty.
Loved the pool and also spa services. 100% Recommend !

The room was nice, only complaints were the room was VERY hot and the vent only blew hot air (reported to staff but their suggestion didn’t work). Also the area around the property seemed a bit sketchy, especially between the hotel and the old town. The restaurant offered great food and outdoor seating but the service was not very good. We were the only ones there and the service was still very slow. Had to get our own napkins and salt off another table. Water never got refilled. Inattentive service at all levels at the restaurant

Such a wonderful experience! I came in the middle of the night and was treated very well by the receptionist. My single room was nice, it feels old fashioned Italian. It felt fresh even though it was older furnitures and so on... Maybe I would have wished for a few more appliance in the rooms. Like hangers and some small things.
But the location is really good and calm, the pool area is beautiful. The breakfast was tasty. The welcome drink (a glas of wine) I received the day after, because of my late check in. So I could chose what ever time I wanted. I used the gym, which was okey but not more.
The best thing was the staff, so kind and helpful and I also had some good chats with them. No problem to leave your luggage if you have a late flight or train to catch.
I would definitely return.

A beautiful hotel, in a quiet spot away from the city centre. The pool was ideal with the hot weather. Breakfast is a bit average but the daytime food offering is very good and there were plenty of staff available to help. Only downside was the lack of free airport shuttle, which I feel they selectively use to entice high-value customers.

Nice rooms but with old and har beds. The design of the room and other areas are really nice. The pool and pool-area is good.

The hotel setting is quaint and beautiful. I was there on snowy weekend and it was so peaceful and lovely there. The food was excellent too. Comfy rooms although a little dated (small TV, no desk, small shower)

Lovely hotel tucked away in a residential area and just 10 or so mins walk from the centre of Timisoara. Definitely recommend.

Also, my tour guide asked if I could grab something from the breakfast bar I'd paid for 15 minutes prior to their official open time to accommodate our tour; they said yes, but when I went down to the breakfast bar the servers had limited English and just kept telling me to come back at 8. They did offer me coffee while I waited which was kind. (Plus there was a BIG spider on the wall in my room.)

We spent just one night at this hotel, but that's enough to know that it is a good hotel. It's close to the city centre and very quiet. Breakfast was also good and the staff very kind.

The architecture, the furniture, the warm hospitality make me think to return to the Casa del Sole (The Sun's House) as soon as I can. The entire staff is wonderful , and I like to thank Danny, one of the waiters who helped us with the luggage at arrival on the...staircase! The food at the restaurant adjacent to the pool was fresh, and local.The staff's non-show attitude enriches the beauty and tranquility of this home away from home.Even the sweet cat's welcome at the staircase base adds a lot to the comfort of a short vacation making you ignore that the living room TV is not working!

Spent 3 nights here during a business trip. The receptionist at check in and out was ver efficient and polite. My room was a single, with a small twin bed. The shower was small but did the job. A full breakfast was included in the room rate. I ate lunch and 2 dinners in the restaurant and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The wait staff were very helpful with recommendations.

Casa del Sole has a fantastic restaurant attached to it, which may be its greatest attraction for me. The rooms feel homey, with large wooden furniture instead of the more neutral corporate feel of many other hotels. Location cant be beat. Its less than 1km from the city center with very accessible parking.
