The front desk lady was nice but the rest of the experience wasn’t great. We got into our room after a long trip to get there and the sheets were dirty. When calling for replacement, the housekeeper knocked on the door and handed us 1 new top sheet and 1 new pillowcase. I then showed photos and explained the spots on the pillow that looked like old blood from someone’s face and they came back with 2 new pillows (bed required 4) and then a third time after asking, brought back a new fitted sheet. The hotel clearly labels no smoking but the entire building smelled like cigarettes and my husband and I both were experiencing intense allergy symptoms while staying there. The name of the hotel says “budget” and that should’ve said it all but I had hoped for better. The photo on the wall had water damage inside the frame, the walls themselves were cracking and falling apart. The mirror had 1 light bulb present out of 4 sockets. It was raunchy and nerve wracking to wonder how dirty it was where I couldn’t actually see. But if you don’t care about clean bedding and a creepy, dark, smoke smelling room… here’s a cheap hotel for you!

Great couple with a great inn!

This was our second time staying at the Barron Brook Inn, and yet again it was amazing.The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location. We will definitely be planning another trip.

Beautiful location, super friendly service. Hospitable and homey. Old-school roadside Inn. Family feel with welcoming common areas and a fire pit out back.

On the positive side, our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was helpful. However, based on the photos and the price, I expected something nicer. This property is very rustic and "campy" ... thin pine doors, very outdated. No closet in our room and the bathroom was very small, with no space to store anything. A very loud fan goes on whenever the light is turned on.

Everything was great EXPEPT rather noisy due to constant traffic.
