We have traveled a lot in over the years and felt this was one of the BEST hotels we have EVER stayed at. SO BEAUTIFUL - SO CONVENIENT to everything - FABULOUS STAFF!!! I wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back and will recommend this hotel to EVERYONE!

We had a lovely, too-short stay (just one night) at the luxurious Grand Hotel Casselbergh. We stayed in the Prince Henry suite, beautifully appointed and exactly as shown in photos online. Separate toilet & shower/tub/sink was convenient to accommodate getting ready in the morning. Lots of lighting options, effective shades on windows & skylights made sleeping very comfortable. Everything was clean and we were pleased to have L'Occitane toiletries and complimentary water in the room. The front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, making check in/out simple, offering restaurant recommendations and watching our bags after checkout and calling a cab for us quickly when departing. The evening service at the bar was a little slow, but drinks were tasty and the sitting rooms were gorgeous. The location is so convenient, $15 cab ride to and from the train station, and the hotel is right in the center of things. Restaurant Diligence across the street was another high point of our visit. Would stay again for sure, what a treat and a pleasure.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Casselbergh Bruges and had a wonderful experience. The check-in process was seamless and mostly completed online, so we received our key upon arrival with minimal wait. The service and staff were excellent; they helped with our luggage, cleaned the room daily without being asked, and consistently checked if we needed anything. The rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, beautiful, and a perfect blend of traditional castle atmosphere with modern amenities. Overall, the stay was exceptional, and I highly recommend the Grand Hotel Casselbergh Bruges for its outstanding service and charm.

This is a beautiful hotel - the location is perfect as it is 3 min from the centre of Bruges. The buffet breakfast is superb. We especially like the historic building with its stunning bar.

Overall had an amazing stay at the hotel. Received an upgrade and had a spacious room in the old castle side of the hotel. The room was clean and beautiful with comfortable bed and pillows. Location was very central within walking distance to shopping and dining. Staff were friendly and helpful. The sauna and the steam room were great perks, as well as the relaxing massage at the spa room. Would definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit.

Brilliant location, perfectly central, located just off main market square yet still peaceful and relaxed.
Ambience of the hotel is luxurious yet friendly, fabulous bar with beautifully made cocktails, whisky tasting and service.
Convenient parking directly under the hotel if you pre book. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return if we came back to Bruges.

Check in was excellent. Staff nice and friendly. Hotel was immaculate and of a high standard. Room cleaned daily to a high standard. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice and dining area was lovely / well decorated and well maintained. Staff super friendly. I would recommend staying here . This property is a former castle in the heart of the city. Staying there made me feel like royalty. I didn’t want to leave. Take advantage of the spa downstairs complete with a sauna and steam room. Go ahead and book your castle! You won’t regret it.

What a hidden delight, only slightly off the beaten track by a few minutes. Such a great location, great staff, stayed in a larger room with a balcony bedroom and felt like we were in a 5star hotel.

This was an excellent hotel, close to all the main sites. It is very walkable. We loved the decor. The only thing that was a bit difficult were the few steps from the entrance to the check-in counter and the stairs to the elevator which made it hard lifting heavy suitcases. But we would stay here again. Everyone was very helpful.

Room was extremely small, not as expected or described on Expedia. Expected a much larger room for the price paid, especially since the description said Luxury room. Carpet in room should get changed as there were multiple stains on it.
Thank goodness it was a 2-night stay.
