We really enjoyed our time at Hotel Vestibul, but it was much too short. In spite of our short stay, the staff was immensely helpful in assisting with complicated transfers prior to our arrival. The private driver company they work with is top-notch, and went above and beyond. Once at the fabulous small hotel, we were warmly welcomed to the perfect location and fabulous accommodations. The reception staff personally carried our bags up the hotel, as well as to our rooms. The breakfast was phenomenal. Definitely will return.

This boutique hotel is exquisite in a magical location- my bedroom window actually looked out onto the Vestibule (stunning antechamber in Diocletian’s Palace) - I was transported. Also one of my hotel room walls was an original Roman wall! The staff were also so friendly & considerate- fantastic service. I will definitely try to stay again the next time I visit Split.

This property is literally in the center of Diocletian’s Palace.
There is so much to do nearby (site seeing, shopping, and so many restaurants to choose from). The staff was so friendly, welcoming, knowledgable. In my opinion the rooms were bigger for European boutique hotel standards. The breakfast included was delicious and quite a large amount of food was offered in 2 courses. My husband and I would definitely come back/recommend this hotel to friends & family.

The room at the Annex wasn’t great. It never got cool enough in the room, and there was no place to put any of our stuff.

Hotel was a great location in the old town. Staff were fantastic and helpful. Breakfast was great. The air con didn’t work efficiently so unfortunately a couple of uncomfortable nights. We did mention to staff and they provided a fan. We stayed in the Villa annex which was good, the staff walked us there with our bags and it was a nice walk to the hotel for breakfast.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff - super helpful. The room was in the villa away from the main hotel - double height with rooftop views from both sides. Shared patio on ground floor. Breakfast was beautifully presented like an afternoon tea - more than enough to fuel the day. Highly recommended just make sure you call the staff for instructions on how to find it!

This hotel is in a charming historic area. You are literally in the heart of the castle. The accommodations and restaurant were excellent, but what really set it apart was the staff. They were exceptional and anticipated our every need! We will recommend to all of our friends.

We had a spectacular stay at the Vestibule Palace hotel. Imagine coming into a hotel through a 1720 year old entrance. Truly an unmatched experience. The service wonderful, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfast setting and food excellent. The attention to detail, unmatched.

We had a very pleasant stay this trip, the location is excellent, though at night near the old town can be quite noisy, we enjoyed staying in the old town, the service and breakfast are excellent

This place was amazing! The history of it's location is mind blowing. Transportation is easy, the bus station is right down the road as well as taxi service all day. I didn't fly into Split but I did see an airport shuttle. The customer service was above and beyond as well! They made me feel very welcomed and the stay that much more enjoyable. I expected a lot out of my trip and it was better than I could have expected. I will most definitely be back! Thank you to everyone that made it possible!

Wonderful property ideally located inside the castle walls. Room was spotless and very comfortable with an incredible breakfast included each day. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed exploring the city from this location as well as used it as a base for a number of day trips. If you plan to have a car, be sure to contact the hotel ahead of time to arrange for parking, since the hotel is in a pedestrian only area. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The location within the palace was excellent. It may be a bit difficult to get too, but call before arrival, and the staff will meet you on the street outside of he palace, to escort you and assist with bags. Was a fantastic place, and I will return.

We were staying in the annex to this hotel - Villa Dobrić, which is a duplex. There are a lot of steps between the main hotel and the villa including steps up to the duplex and once inside to the top floor (no lift). The rooms were a little tired. There is no tea/coffee facility therefore having to go to main hotel for refreshments/breakfast (no morning tea!!!). Further stairs to the bedroom, bed was very comfortable, however due to sloping ceiling and beams you could not sit up in bed and had to crawl into the bed - not good for anyone with limited movement.

The Hotel Vestibule Palace is very well situated within the palace walls and has everything around it. The staff was amazing and the renovated hotel is wonderful, yet small. They changed me to their sister location, Villa Dobric, which is 250m away. The room I got was very basic, but clean and nice. I highly recommend.

Marija, Mladen, Ivan, and the whole staff treated us like old friends, attending to every need. The location is ideal and rooms elegant and comfortable. We left refreshed and energized. Strongest recommendation!

The staff reached out to me and made arrangements to meet me at the bus station. They helped me with my luggage and showed me the way to hotel. Along the way, they introduced the area to me. I was very glad that they made such arrangements because there was no way I would have found the hotel myself as a first-time visitor to Split.

Great Central Location. Little tough to find, since we checked in around 6pm, it was but difficult to haul our luggage to the hotel and deal with several sets of stairs to reach the hotel. But the location can’t be beat once you settle in.

Absolutely wonderful small boutique Hotel. Wonderful central location in the midst of Diocletian’s Palace, close to all the major sightseeing spots in Split. Extremely attentive staff. Lovely breakfast. A true gem. Wished we had stayed more than our two nights. Will not stay anywhere else in Split.
