Ws stayed here at the very last minute whilst trying to stay out of Covid areas. We were welcomed graciously with a smile and a beverage on the house. The family room was great and we were pointed in the right direction for dinner and kid friendly spaces.

Treated very well at reception, polite, friendly and helpful. Offered a couple of good tips for places to dine and they were "bang on the money". Would happily stay there again when next in town. Slept well, which is rare for me in a strange bed.

Hotel owners were very helpful and pleasant any request answered and followed through without a problem. Look forward to returning for next visit. Rooms have great linen and you know with white covers very clean and fresh.

This place was just what we wanted after 11hrs on the road driving through dreadful wet conditions....the owners were very welcoming and the bonus with this place is it's right next door to the bowling club which serves great meals at a very reasonable price...bedding was comfortable and shower was good, everything you need for a good night's rest.

Older Motor Inn but had everything you needed and currently under renovation. Great water pressure.

Property is very old & tired. Although very clean with a comfortable bed. It could do with refurbishment. The decor is 1980’s & having to get in & out of the bath for a shower is a hazard. However it looked like there were workmen there so maybe it’s being fixed up. Overpriced in its present condition

The front of house staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, unfortunately this is the only positive about the motel. I had large cockroaches in my bathroom I had to kill. The bathroom is more then a little dated and the unhygienic use of a shower curtain is revolting. I used thongs in the shower as I was unsure if the stains in the shower over bath were from the extreme age or from cleanliness. The carpets and furniture are very badly stained. For a supposed 3.5 star motel my stay was very disappointing. I am sure the motel earned it rating 30 years ago, however is undeserving of it now. It really is such a shame as management really are an amazing asset to the facility and some of the nicest and helpful people I have met.

The motel is right by the bowling club, which was great for me while attending a conference there. The room was quite comfortable and they provided a toaster, microwave oven, jug for coffee, tea and biscuits. There were also plates, bowls and cutlery for use by guests. My only gripe would be that walking on the carpet barefoot I noticed that dirt washed off my feet when stepping into the shower. The carpets need a good steam clean. Coles supermarkets is located right around the corner so buying “supplies” for breakfast was easy. Would I stay here again? Yes, certainly. It is well located and was much cheaper than other motels nearby.

Have stayed here on multiple occasions for work, quite popular with business travelers. Large room, clean, comfortable. Good bedding and good water pressure in the showers. Lovely helpful staff. Close to Coles, Bowling Club, Wicklow Hotel, White Bull Hotel and take aways.

Two of us stayed here for 3 nights in mid October and used it as a base for exploring Armidale and surrounds. We were impressed by the generosity of the "little extras", eg a set of crockery and cutlery, dish washing liquid, salt and pepper, a small portable fan (for use when some air is needed but it isn't hot or cool enough to use the pre-set air conditioner settings for heating/cooling), blankets (for those nights when doonas are too hot). Bathroom lighting was superb and the shower very generous.
