Mould in the bathroom, taps filthy, airconditioning musty. The room requires a total overhaul. I paid extra for an upgraded room and it had the most basic of facilities and comfort…I would hate to see what the standard room consisted of. The yard was so overgrown that I actually drove past it because I couldn’t see the sign. I didn’t feel safe for security was substandard. I was (if you could call it) welcomed by a lady who unlocked the office door, asked my name and walked away without opening the door or asking me in, then I had to have an awkward conversation with a young child continually asking my name. There is also a resident cat which converses with a dog in the evening and early hours of the morning. Oh, and I stepped out of the shower to find that my bathroom was visible from the reception’s thoroughfare and had to shut the window (which I didn’t realise was open when I got in the shower).

We stayed one night, the owners were very co-operative, the rooms clean and tidy and the area quiet.

It was an older motel but was very clean. I didn’t realise at the time but a great meal was available for dinner at a very reasonable price. It is off the main road so is very quiet. I shall return

The owners provided a dining choice for an evening meal delivered to our room, which was very nice and filling. The only downside was the lack of water pressure in the shower.

Was very surprised. Boggabilla is NOT an attractive town, but motel was secure and the staff friendly. Motel unit was spacious, clean and undercover parking a bonus.

If you want quiet and clean, but very basic, then it might be ok for you. But we like better proximity to dining options.
