This is a small hotel, clean, Staff very helpful, great neighborhood, everything easily accessible from this hotel. good food nearby

I was staying in this hotel while visiting the twin cities of Ubeda and Baeza on weekend. The hotel building is not the one in the picture. The picture on the hotel's Hotels.com website is one of the historical buildings in the city. The hotel is actually a rather drab 1970's apartment building. The room I had was very small, but appropriate for the price I paid. There was no breakfast at this hotel, as it was closed for renovation. Given the lack of renovation activity, I think it's safe to predict that there will not be a breakfast room at this hotel anytime this decade. While the hotel is not in the city center, it is a few minute walk from the center.

We booked this last minute and were pleasantly surprised. The price is good and the location is excellent. It is near the centre of Ubeda and there are several good cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and very helpful.The room was clean and had everything we needed including fast wi-fi. Ubeda is well worth a visit too - its a lovely town off the beaten track.

The staff at La Paz made me feel welcome and comfortable even though I spoke very little Spanish. For a foreign visitor in a new place I cannot emphasize enough how valuable this was. The rooms were clean and comfortable. No frills, though they provided all that was needed. Clean beds and bathroom. TV as well. The WiFi was by far the best I've found in Spain. Overall an excellent and affordable hotel that I would highly recommend to travelers.

Hotel and rooms very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is very good as there are plenty of bars and resturants close by. Recommended by Michilen Guide since 2005
