Overall a good experience. Rooms were clean, had a kitchen counter and a fridge. How ever when booking it wasn't made clear the reception was remote and only English. By the delay when talking, somewhere either in southern Europe or Asia. Having some trust issues in regards to call center operation in general due to all the scam calls lately, being met by an empty reception, a phone, a box of unprogrammed key cards, and a card terminal for payment of deposit made me hesitate. But staff on the other side seemed competent. Being directed to the map of all the rooms behind us, kinda also made a slight snag. One of our rooms was 1009, which wasn't noted on the map. On site cleaning services helped with the confusion without being asked, so a plus for on site staff. :) Rules for checkout could have had better grammar. Wasn't entirely clear what was expected in regards of sheets, trash and cleaning "kitchen platform". Urban area, so it was surprisingly not that noisy. No A/C so you'd need to have windows open in summer - but it was fine to do so. Just normal city noise. No traffic nearby. :) Price was GREAT. Close to Tøyen Town Square and Metro station - so it's easy to get around. Overall was a good stay.

It was basic, but ticked all boxes and was clean, decent bed and great shower.

Great location for subway plus walking to city centre, Grünerløkka etc. Supermarket close by and a Sunday open bakery. Clean room with a spacious bathroom that even had a washing machine. Also microwave, fridge and cooking hobs and a sink in the room. No reception, you pick up a phone to speak to a man when you check in and if you need to pay for parking. Note that there are electrical chargers for cars outside but they don’t work, neither slow charge or fast. The staff on the other end of the mysterious phone know nothing about the car chargers and don’t speak good enough English to communicate about it. They don’t aswer emails about it either and cleaning staff don’t know. So don’t plan on charging your car here

The are is nice and the property is close to some grocery shops and also underground. The room that we had was average. The smell in the room nothing close to fresh. And the communication with the receptionist (which is via a phone btw) was so poor: she was claiming that she is not able to hear me most of the time, the attitude was like she didn’t care at all about the conversation and that she just wants to hang up as soon as she can. So overall nice area but really poor costumer service.

Very clean and not far from the bus station. You check in by phone and it was a little bit difficult with the pronunciation, but it went smoothly anyway. The kitchen has not many things to cook with, barely the basics so if you're gonna cook a lot then it might be a problem. Big apartment and as I said, very clean!

We were charged a deposit for the property against damage which we are still waiting to have returned. We were also charged for an early check in despite only being 30 minutes early

The hotel is nothing like advertised and pictures on booking sites seem fake. We booked it because it was said to be close to an event venue Spectrum but turned out we had to walk more than 30 minutes to get there from the venue. The front door was open late at night, reception (which didn't really exist) closed and the room didn't feel safe. It was dirty and there were signs of attempted forced entry in the rooms door. You could see directly to the room through the door and the curtain wasn't big enough to cover the whole window. There were scratches on the walls and one of the power sockets seemed to have been on fire. There were bugs in the shower and a huge spider in the room and the bed was not made properly. We felt cheated and had to book another hotel, definitely cannot recommend. Also the smoke detector was attached to the ceiling but seemed to be put together with tape and most probably it doesn't even function.

We arrived late evening and were allocated apartment 1008. After searching, unfortunately, we were not able to find this and went back to the phone in reception and were given a different apartment which was excellent. We looked in daylight but never found 1008.

Poor customer relations They should have at least one person at the reception not talking to phone , alone when someone needs urgent help

I liked the area. Te reception system is very unpersonal and service is very poor on arrival or for any changes/corrections needed. The opening hours of reception is not functional for late arrival. We booked two singel beds and got one double and no help in changing this back to two singels. The room is small but functional, and you ca hear the guy tralking on the phone next door. But if you are there to sleep and work, it have a reasonable price which is attractive.

Staff were friendly but did not clean the room weekly. The room has a refrigerator and stove for self-catering.

Good location. Near Metro, bus station. Room was clean and comfortable . No reception desk when chech in at night, but next morning the reception office was available. Thanks their kind staff to help me keep luggage in their office untill 2Pm. It will be better if reading light available at sofa side not only at bed side.

The apt had no paper towels and no dish towel to do dishes that are mandatory to do unless you want to be charged. The TV has no streaming services. The apt should also leave coffee and tea complimentary.

Smooth check in and great location! It was also very clean. However the room was too hot. There was a fan, but since you could barely open the window it got so damp, especially at night. That was a severe drawback, would stay there again, but not during the summer months!

Overall not a very pleasant stay, here are some pain points: - Shower head knob too tense - Button in air vent above stove was broken - No bed lights - We received a mop to dry the bathroom floor. Some sort of wiper would be much better. - Some additional cutlery/plates (we booked a room for two but there was only one bowl to eat breakfast from) But by far the biggest pain point was that the fire alarm went off for no reason in the middle of the night. I woke up screaming, which in turn frightened my girlfriend. (apparently other people have experienced this aswell) Conclusion: Would not stay here again unfortunately, but with a few improvements it would be an okay place.

Horrible experience with “hotel”. Photos are not accurate. Communication was non-existent. There is no reception and you are required to call to check in, this wouldn’t be an issue if anyone answered the phone. Phone number on hotels.com is not current. Left with no option but to last minute book another hotel, but based on the overall feel and state of the place, I am grateful

I checked in late in the evening. Communicated in advance with the number given in the booking. When I arrived I called at the number. He assigned a fellow to help me in the check in. I wanted to pay in cash in either euro or dollar. I was told to pay almost one hundred euro more than the exchange rate. When I protested , the fellow present again called somebody who explained that exchange rate in this case applies of selling euro in the market. So the difference. I was confused as I had paid normal exchange rate in Switzerland and Denmark. Moreover, the reception is rarely open. It's good for single, independent fellow but for a tourist family it's not recommended

The check in was a nightmare as it's by telephone only and isn't practical for a deaf person. Had to beg a cleaner to call on my behalf. That was stressful and would have liked to know this in advance so that I could come to an alternative arrangement. My baggage arrived late so I was stressed out waiting for my luggage to arrive especially there was no one at the reception so I could not go out and enjoy myself. Other than that the room was clean and adequate.

There is an unpleasant odor of deceased animals in the vicinity of the property, which is compounded by its inconvenient location.

I had a pleasent stay. The rooms have been renovated recently. Check-in is via telephone, but it works. I had a room facing the backyard and it was very quiet.

I had a deluxe apt for two. it had a combined kitchen/dining/living room, separate bedroom. The kitchen had a microwave, fridge and full oven. There was two of all crockery and cutlery. Despite the normal sized oven there were only small side plates so they don't expect you to cook a big meal! location was great - near the subway and a little shopping complex with restaurants, supermarket etc. The reception was hard to find as per other reviews but you basically keep walking around the back until you find the furthest entrance door. Check in is all remote - someone on the end of a phone but all worked fine without issue. I would stay here again if I visited Oslo.
