Good location and close to water front

Old place, feels worn out. Every time I took a shower the whole bathroom was flooded.

Location is perfect, easy to walk to the old town. It's situated opposite the police office along a peaceful street. Quiet to sleep. We were lucky to get the motorcycle in to the garage, which is small but safe. The rooms are very nice, though there was a light frowsty smell. Breakfast was tasty. We had a pleasant visit here, the hotel is modern and has good level.

Hotel located few steps from city center. Quiet place, it was really comfortable.

- breakfast, there was no coffee machine to make capucino. In 4 star hotel it shouldn't be like this but all the rest ok
- underground parking, car elevator and quite tight and few spots only.

Choose this hotel for the shower pressure alone as best so far and have been travelling for three weeks through the Balkans. Very serious receptionist and the breakfast staff limited English speaking but this did not matter as it was a help yourself buffet and the eggs were great (softly fried almost poached). Decor needs changing as it is a study in shades of brown (even the toilet paper) and plants need planting outside breakfast room rather than almost blank walls. Only non-English speaking guests when we were there but didn’t matter. Very quiet room overlooking neighbours’ courtyards. A couple of blocks away from the old town and the other direction is a brand new huge shopping centre - just don’t go into COS if you are a tourist as the security guard trails you around the store if you are wearing walking shoes (they were $250) with blond hair and don’t look Slavic. Typical European firm king size bed and we took our own top sheet though used the bed spread rather than our cashmere travel throw as summer and we don’t like thick doonas, and typical European non-fluffy towels. Very clean but only one conveniently placed power point for the phone charger. Fabulous large feather pillows.

Great location, although extremely difficult to find by road, even using GPS navigation, needed local people riding with us in our car to guide us to the hotel. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is five minutes walking to the old town. Facilities are so so. Only 3 in one instant coffee provided in the room, even there is not good coffee machine in the eating area for the breakfast. Indoor Parking is about 20 Euro/night.

The front desk staff were very helpful throughout my entire stay. The location is perfect and my room was comfortable- just what I needed after a long day of travel!

This hotel is within walking distance of the Old Town Bratislava and Danube shore and is newly refurbished. Garage is small and you need to prebook space if you need one. Hotel serves decent and delicious breakfast

Great location for city centre and Danube bank walks, clean spatious and well equipped room, friendly and polite staff, allowed earlier chek-in as room was already ready. 1st floor corridor carpets in need some tlc though.

The location of the hotel is great, but that is the end of the all the good news. Depressing dark reception, people who do not really care, AC not working in all the hotel, fridge not working, no hot water, lights and power sockets not working, double bed but with single duvets, it is like they are just letting the property die. Breakfast was also very basic, however it was included in the price. No matter how optimistic someone wants to be, that is definitely not a 4-star hotel and the rating of 9 does not reflect the truth. In my opinion it is a 3-star hotel max, with a rating of 7,5 max. There are other amazing and brand-new hotels in the city, with a lower cost too.

Our room wasn't the greatest, it smelled of formerly being a smoking room.
The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, they let us park our car in the hotel garage for free for 4 hrs before we moved our park to friends office parking space.
Breakfast was excellent and the service was caring and always on hand.

Clean good size of room for single visitor. Enough breakfast without any personal attendance (serving breakfast) Parking under ground is good but very difficult to put middle-large size of the car to put it inside of the lift to and from the garage.

Was good. We had two twin beds, mine was comfy but my husband said his sank in the middle. They have a wellness area which is good. Bar seemed to be closed at night. Not too many restaurants open, as not many tourists have returned yet. Just around corner from city center walking area. Great breakfast.

I had an absolutely delightful stay! The hotel is beautiful, modern, clean, and welcoming. The location is unbeatable; I walked everywhere effortlessly. My room was luxurious and had a great view. The staff was friendly and helpful! I will be back.

בלילה הראשון היה סביר למרות שמזדרון בקומה שלנו היה עם ריח לא נעים. אחרי ארוחת בוקר הודיעו לנו שאנחנו היחידים במלון ולכן לא יהיה אף אחד בקבלה ואנו נצטרך לפתוח את המלון עם הכרטיס שלנו-אם הייתי רוצה לגור במקום ללא נוכחות של נותן השירות הייתי שוכרת דירה ומשלמת פחות. בערב לא היה מים חמים ולא היה לי למי לפנות. בבוקר למחרת זה המשיך בכך שגם לא הייתה ארוחת בוקר בופה אלא נתנו לנו תפריט שחצי ממנו לא היה במלאי. בסוף אכלנו חביתה עם גבינה וקצת ירקות בצד ושתינו קפה. גם בבוקר למחרת הדפוס הזה חזר על עצמו. אז חוץ ממיקום קרוב למרכז ומיזוג . אויר לא הייתי ממליצה על שהות במלון זה. אגב בכל השהות לא ניקו אצלנו וגם לא שאלו אם צריכים משהו מבחינת ניקיון

However , the male staff at the front recepton was unfriendly and did not wear a mask and the male staff seved food in the restaurant without a mask .
i couldn't eat breakfast because i was anxious and uncomfortable.

What a nice place, exceeded all of my expectations. The staff was fantastic and the accommodations were excellent.
I will highly recommend Hotel Avance not only to anyone I know, but I will be back!
