The hotel was nice, no bad smells or dirty areas. The beds were very firm almost hard so that was the main downside. The pool water was quite cool so we just used the hot tub. The breakfast area was nice for it being a cheaper hotel price. The TV volume didn't work at first but the front desk employee got it reset and it worked!

Window in our room opened to the pool - weird. People in the next room were smoking pot. No elevator. It was a place to sleep and leave as quickly as possible.

The service was quick and helpful, the room was clean, and the breakfast had a good variety and was fresh. I think our only complaint is that the beds were so firm that we all woke up with horribly sore backs.

There was something that I did not like. They do not keep their secondary doors locked. They have removed this feature to make it easier for customers to come and to to patio etc. We were place near one of these door and I was
not comfortable with this. I don't think Wyndham should
accept this in their units especially at night.

The outside side door had no lock and open to anyone, scary for a family. Walk in and there are dirty towels under the ice machine to collect water or to catch a leak from a faulty machine. Musty smelling rooms and filth on the walls. I’ve stayed at nicer hotels for much less. Do not trust the pictures on the website.

It’s clean. Had a good continental breakfast. Staff was very friendly. Good location. Reasonably priced. We would stay here again.

Front desk staff was incredibly rude and condescending to other guests when we were checking in, she was also complaining about management and keys not working properly. Room was run down and dirty. Bathroom didn’t have warm or hot water, barely luke warm for a shower. Beds were hard as a rock, bedding was subpar, room was only moderately clean. Breakfast was good and parking was convenient.

Building is definitely showing it's wear and tear. Our bathroom had quite a bit of missing mortar between the tiles which is not good for the subflooring or catching your feet down in those grooves. Our room was not vacuumed previously to us getting the room either. Beds were comfortable and the pool and hot tub were both in working order thankfully.

Giant hole in screen window which was not even attached and glass window could open all the way. Not safe if traveling with little ones.
Shower curtain was black at the bottom, potentially mold.

The place was clean inside. Outside it was a little run down. The room was nice but the mattress was pretty hard and the room smelled a little musty.

The gentleman working the office was very nice and eager to help. Our first room you could tell the bathroom had not been cleaned. The second room the air doesn’t really cool to get cold. It does work enough to not sweat. There’s no elevator to carry your luggage upstairs. The hot tub jets don’t work and there were bugs in the hot tub and no towels. The hotel needs major updating.

196.00 for one night was a bit much for a hotel that had broken outside doors to let just anyone in.
Also the pool was fair but you can tell it needs repairs.
Breakfast was fair, but have had better at other hotels that have cost less!
The front desk was also fair but not very personal or really even friendly, just meh!
The view was of an Aldi's across the road, so not even close to the river! All in all 5 out of 10

The check in was lovely as were the staff working there. However, the room door key didn't work. The staff fixed the door immediately. The room was musky, the carpet seemed damp. The tub in the room was awesome, but the jets didn't work. The paint and carpet and overall hotel needs a revamp for cleaner fresher upkeep. There was no ice machine, it was broken and leaking. Other than that there was breakfast and a pool that were nice. Each slice of bread was in an individual plastic bag, which was unnecessary and not eco friendly. The location was easy.

Check in was impersonal and functional. The first room had damp carpeting and a dirty bathtub/shower and a vanity counter that was coming loose from the wall. I went back to check-in and spoke to someone else who immediately upgraded me to a "suite" which had a jetted tub (only amenity or aesthetic difference) and dry carpeting. The mattress was not good quality, only blackout curtains (no sheers or other option) which did not close properly, and the air conditioning was noisy and disruptive.

Nice hotel in a convenient area. Close to restaurants and shopping. I cannot comment on the friendliness of the staff. We rarely saw any staff, the front desk was empty almost every time we went by.

For $200/night, wasn’t impressed. Hotel was updated in last couple of years, but still had some issues. Stains in tub. Water leak in bathroom from floor above. Whirlpool tub/shower combo in bedroom (not bathroom) was odd. Would be a struggle for elderly people to get into shower. Could easily hear people on floor above walking, talking, and TV. $200 for this room was too much.

Stay was great, we walked Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak, went to a winery and the fish and cheese shop. Always have a great time in Prairie Du Chien. The best bars! Live music at the Tavern

For a budget hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and quiet, the bed very comfortable. I also enjoyed the water pressure in the shower. I would stay here again.

The door lock on the outside of the hotel (side door) was broken leaving the hotel ipen to anyone who opened the door. Not secure at all! Not a good feeling for a woman traveling with a small child.
