Extremely charming hostess made our stay very enjoyable. It’s a small B&B (5 rooms), with average size rooms, but immaculately clean, very comfortable (ie nice size and firm bed, lovely temperature maintained during quite chilly weather etc). The cooked breakfast was delicious and there was ample off street free parking. The town centre is a 5 minute walk away. There were plenty of very good restaurants within walking distance. Lots of nice places to visit in the vicinity. Would recommend the place to anyone wanting to stay in a quiet area of Banbury.

Sian welcomed us to a wonderful overnight experience with full English breakfast. Just a short walk to the Thai Orchid restaurant for a superb evening meal. 5-10 mins walk to Banbury Cross of nursery rhyme fame.

Lovely welcome, nice room and quiet setting, albeit on a main road. Very close to good restaurants and pubs. A thoroughly nice experience.

A very warm and friendly welcome again, everything was perfect, lovely clean and well decorated/finished room, very comfortable bed and great shower. The breakfast was excellent and keeps you going all day. The location is great as just a short walk into town Centre so no need to move the car which can be parked off road out front. A great place to stay and would thoroughly recommend for any visit

Avonlea is walkable from the town centre and just a little further to the train station. The bed was extremely comfortable and the landlady exceptionally helpful and kind.

Very easy to find from the M40 great value and a quality breakfast. Plenty of options for dinner in town 5min walk.

This is a lovely guest house and Sian is the perfect host. Her cooked breakfast is fantastic, and there are lots of other alternatives if that's not for you. Rooms are very comfortable and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Would most definitely recommend.

Lovely stay, great host and fine breakfast - really enjoyed the home made biscuits in the room.

The Avonlea guest house is easy to find and ideally placed for the town being only 5 minutes walk away. The Host was welcoming, and I found the guest house to be clean and homely and comfortable. Even down to the home made flapjacks left in the room, which I thought was a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again.

What an amazing stay! The couple who run this place are the most lovely people you could meet. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it can be. Beds were comfy too and breakfast was spot on. Couldn't have asked for more. I'll be back!

My wife and I have just returned from two nights at Avonlea. The cleanliness of our bedroom, en-suite bathroom and dining room was extremely good. Sian, the landlady, was very welcoming and went out of her way to make sure we and her other guests enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended

Sian was a superb host, making sure we had everything we needed and cooking a fresh breakfast to order for us in the morning. The rooms were clean, fresh and very comfortable. If we find ourselves needing accommodation in Banbury again, we will be booking here. Superb experience.

Excellent service from the hosts in a beautifully kept establishment. The breakfast was exceptional, with a full choice of dishes to suit all tastes. The Full English was perfection !
