Loved our stay at Royal Palm. Very clean, great facilities and good dining options. We will be back for sure.

We had an excellent stay at the Royal Palm Hotel in a deluxe double, see view room. All the staff were friendly and helpful, from housekeepers to reception and restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We found the dining options very varied which was nice, while it was also good that we could use the facilities in all the resort hotel's, so had the option to go to adults only or quieter areas for a swim or drink. The grounds were well maintained with exceptional views. A nice walk along the promenade was a bonus if you wanted to go to the more populated area of Lapad, however it was always nice to return to the hotel and facilities which in our opinion, had a nicer feel about it all and definitely worth the 5 star status.

Beautiful views! Food was excellent, breakfast was fresh everyday. You can use the pools, restaurants and bars at any of the Royal hotels that join together. Very clean resort. Staff are attentive and very helpful. Nice walk into Lapad where there is a sandy/pebbly beach, supermarkets. More for adults than children but that’s what we wanted! Bus service a short walk away to get to Dubrovnik 2,50 euros each way.

The hotel was beautiful with several restaurants, pools and plenty of places to sunbathe by the pool or sea. The food was good but expensive, not as good as what I expected for the price. The room was perfect and spotless as were the other places in the hotel. The staff could have been more approachable and welcoming. Many were standing around or would not wait for the guests to walk past first. They could work on their customer service and provide a friendly atmosphere. However, the reception staff were fantastic as were the two women welcoming guests into the La Castile restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Overall, it was a brilliant holiday and the hotel facilities were superb.

Great quick getaway on our way to our boating season in Croatia, the hotel and staff were great to deal with along no surprises. it was just perfect.

Hotel has lots of restaurants and bars (good food but expensive - but everywhere in Croatia was expensive) and views are stunning. Would have liked more to do in the day, options are jump in the freezing cold sea or sunbathe. It is a 15 minute walk to local shop (beautiful along the promenade) unusual to not have a hotel shop. Bus into Dubrovnik old town is easy. The Hotel is very clean and room was great. Some staff were helpful.

Lovely location in Lapad, with great views and not too far to Old Town by taxi or bus. Lovely breakfasts, especially the fact that you could order Eggs Benedict or poached eggs, which, took us a few days to realise. Would have liked to have seen some smaller dishes and lighter lunch options though. Plus water fountains for quick and easy bottle top ups. Finally, it would have been useful for the hotel to make it clear that they could arrange trips etc, as I only saw the catalogue on my last day in Reception. I arranged my own trip to Bosnia.

We travelled as a couple as part of our honeymoon. The hotel itself is great, clean and looked after. The staff on the other hand are very rude and unfriendly, it kind of shocked us. Not a simple hello or how was your stay or anything. The staff at the Bar on the rocks rude too, my husband ordered a beer for €8, they gave him foam and when he asked about it they became defensive and said it’s natural for beer to be like this like we haven’t had beer before :) in our room we kept on hearing some strange (maybe pipes) sound even at night and also had ants running around attracted to food, wouldn’t advise having any kind of food in the room at all. Overall, the stay was not bad and we made the best of it despite all the sour faces. There is no beach as such, entrance to the sea is through rocks or ladders and 2 swimming pools by the sea are filled with sea water. The 3rd outside pool is not very deep at 1.25m.

Nice hotell and good facilities. Many pools and restaurants in the hotel and you can easily spend a whole day at the hotel. Blue sky lounge was very nice and calm (18 ). There is opportunity to rent jet ski, which was nice.

Wonderful location with beautiful views. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room well appointed with lots of storage space and bed very comfortable. A couple of negatives: pool and beach areas always busy so difficult to get sun beds and the buffet area at breakfast was quite cramped.

We had a lovely stay at the Royal Palm. The staff are all very helpful and polite and there are lots of choices of places to eat. The scenery is so pretty and it’s an easy bus ride into Dubrovnik old town with the bus stop close to the hotel complex.

Amazing service and location and pools!

Great property with good amenities It’s clearly an area developed to meet the needs of foreign travellers so if you like that sort of thing, it’s the place to stay If you want to be in Dubrovnik, Croatia then don’t stay here. Stay in the town. We liked it because it was quiet and the town was very noisy and busy If you take a stroll around the other side of the peninsula, you see a slightly less developed area Great places to swim easy to jump off the rocks and grab steps back up Good bus links to the old town and the food was fine

Not enough beds for the amount people at the property. Very expensive for food & drink.

Excellent

Breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of choices. The property is well maintained with courtesy staffs. Room was clean. Guest can use all other swimming pools and restaurants within the resort. For every 15 minutes, there is a bus near the hotel going to the Pile Gate of the city wall. The bus stop is only a 3-minute walk from the hotel and it is the beginning/final stop of the ride.

Beautiful property, amazing room. Staff were so nice and friendly. lovely bars and restaurants and walking distance to a nice beach, shops etc. 10 minute taxi to see the old town

We had a lovely stay here, the staff are really friendly and always willing to help. The room was much bigger than expected, modern, clean and fresh. Would recommend a balcony room with a sea view, the views are beautiful!

Room was beat up, holes in bed, bathroom door didn’t close dragged along ground. My neighbors outside lights controlled my patio lights, this is the second room I was put into. Not much privacy and no way this is VIP. Breakfast area is so small and no room to service the 100plus everyday. Super disappointed with this hotel and staff. The view is nice but find another hotel in Dubrovnik.

The views were incredible! We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was excellent, great location, a short bus ride to Old Town Dubrovnik

Nice resort with a lot of amenities and beautiful views. Was peaceful. Seemed to be a good spot for families, couples, or groups. It was a little far off the bus line, but Ubers into Old Town were inexpensive. Two bathrooms in our room for three were nice. I didn't like that we had to go searching for things like towels for the beach, that there were stains on our white bedding, and that the extra bed wasn't made up as it had been in the other hotels we stayed in on our trip. We were only there for one night, so didn't get the full experience of the resort.

Great location for relaxing, good breakfast buffet. Clean, spacious rooms. Had towel warmers in bathroom. Get the sea view rooms. Worth every penny. Friendly staff.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay here. Absolutely nothing to complain about, it was brilliant!

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting dubrovnik. The hotel and staff were amazing! The location and grounds of the hotel were beautiful, including the view from where breakfast was in the morning. Would definitely visit again!
