Very good hotel. Quiet and reasonable. However, I noticed that corridors are not air conditioned. They were hot.

Great Hotel, Staff was Amazing , Henry from house keeping specifically was very helpfull, we forgot aome stuff in the room and he was very helpfull finding it and arranging for it.

We loved this hotel. It was in a terrific location. An easy walk to local restaurants and downtown. The board walk was across the street. It was about an hour walk to the pay beach. However there was a free shuttle from hotel we would take one of the ways to cut down walking time. The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked 2 tours (desert and Dubai) which were great and no issues. The jazz bar was amazing service, drinks and view. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room was clean but dated. There was a strange light in the closet that we couldn't figure out how to turn off. Room cleaning varied. Some days it was terrific while other days they didnt restock the right number of towels and things. Absolutely recommend if staying in Abudhabi. Would stay again.

All staff including front desk, management and food and beverage very friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel in a great location, Super rooms, Complementary bus service every day to the beach, Great customer service by friendly staff and management, Nothing is too much trouble, Fantastic atmosphere and ambiance about the place. Great two swimming pools, Great to sit next to the pool in the evening for food and drinks from the restaurant, One Swimming pool is a hidden gem which is not obvious to find but great spot. Cocktail bar at the top is great with music and great views of the city. I would definitely go back and stay here again. We normally go to Dubai every year and stay at Sofitel on the Palm.

Great view, great service, great food

Ive always wanted to stay in the Sofitel and finally got my wish in Abu Dhabi. Its easy to find as its huge. Close to the Corniche. The room is big and spacious and i liked the sliding doors to the bathroom and the fact that you can ipen them out. A big tub plus all the soap, shampoo, moisturiser on tap. Lots of different teas were available along with filtered water and a kettle. I didnt eat breakfast downstairs as it was pricey. I wanted to use the pool but it closed at 4pm. When i came back from my day out in Abu Dhabi, i saw a note from the cleaners saying they've not cleaned my room as there "was a do not disturb message". God knows why they think that as i didnt see any sign. As a result, there wasnt any filtered water and ive run out of tea/milk. So i went down to reception who send a guy to bring me supllies. There wasnt any point having the bed, etc tidied up but it did annoy me - as if they were too lazy to clean it up. I did see other notes left on the doorstep of other rooms so it clearly wasnt just me. On the whole, its a relaxing place to stay and luxurious at a reasonable price.

I always preferred to stay At sofital as its close to many attractions, and surrounded with all services and i feel comfortable in it, yet its a time to renovate the whole interior!t The structure of the hotel and rooms layout plus the views are great, but it needs to consider loyal customers who do stay regularly and to raise their expectations.

An excellent hotel with great facilities, conveniently located and good value for money.

The property is neat and clean staff are very helpful,area is close to the seawall very nice for early morning walk,transportation like shuttle bus is available to drop off and pick up specific time.

Amazing staff! Needs refurbishing in rooms. Bathroom lighting and mirror needs to be designed by a woman.

Our hotel stay was exceptional. The hotel was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, as was the beautiful bath tub. Breakfast was delicious and fresh with an abundance of choices. The pool and gym were incredible and the hotel is across the street from the corniche for stunning walks.

The staff is friendly, the breakfast buffet offers plenty of choice, the room at sea side was very nice, clean.

Such a wonderful hotel in so many ways. Staff is very helpful. Special thanks to Andrew on the front desk for taking care of us and all our needs. Thank you, Sofitel!

This is my second time staying here for two weeks and it’s always a lovely experience. I arrived at 8am on the day of my check in and they immediately had a room ready for me, which was greatly appreciated at 15 hours of travel. They’ve made some upgrades since 2023 and the room is even more comfortable, especially the bed. I spent so much time by the pool restaurant and really enjoyed my time. The included breakfast is delicious and full of variety. I cannot wait to return.

Hotel presents itself in a good shape and has stunning views of the bay especially from the upper levels. Convenient commute to the aiport is located just around the corner, A2 bus station.

The position is good, but unfortunately the big pool gets no sun all day. Guests can thankfully use a sunny pool at the Residences, which seems to infuriate residents so we witnessed a few irate conversations. The lounge is wonderful and we were so well looked after by Andrew and Richard at afternoon tea and cocktails. The All Day dining was excellent too. Breakfast was fabulous and the staff was helpful and efficient. Best danish ever!!We had the buffet every night and it also was good. I noticed dishes were constantly being refilled even late on. There was a wide variety of dishes, all very well presented We had a Prestige suite. It’s somewhat dark and badly designed. It’s impossible to find things in the wardrobe without a torch. The bathrooms are dark with insufficient lighting. Also the toiletries were positioned at the foot of the bath…so when bathing it took acrobatics to reach them. The two toilet floors were very spotted and stained….rather offputting. The turndown service is a joke… only not funny. If you advertise a service….supply it. We never knew what would greet us…curtains not pulled…no turndown mats or just 1 for 2 people…a pile of damp towels placed on bath but not replaced. We pointed this and other shortcomings to manager Sabine. Nothing improved…discarded tissues under bathroom counter were not cleared in the 6 days despite being pointed out twice. Sabine never got back to us. Suffice it to say we would not return thanks to her indifference.

Definitely not a five star hotel. The whole hotel needs renovation. The rooms are old, worn out, and stained. Extremely disappointed with the conditions of the rooms. Carpet and furniture extremely stained, old, worn out. The duvet insert is dirty and gross. Housekeeping does a bad job of cleaning. Amenities not five star quality. Mattress lower quality than should be. AC is horrible-very old system so loud and still have humidity in room w the AC working. Check in took 40 minutes even though i prebooked and prepaid for my suite.

Well where to start The room did not have water, robe or tissues when I tried to contact reception the phone did not work, this took over 3 hours to resolve!!!! The bed was very uncomfortable and the staff generally not that good.

Bedroom was great. Large bathroom and lovely shower. Woken at 2am by room service by mistake but no apology given. Room service arrived at 6.45pm which was far too late so we sent them away. Breakfast was varied and well presented.

Not sure why there were different prices for the breakfast buffet.

A clean and comfortable hotel with staff who know customer service like no other, nothing is too much trouble for them. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful with incredible water views and the breakfast buffet is absolutely delicious. There is a free shuttle to a pristine beach, just beautiful. My stay was wonderful and I will definitely stay here the next time I’m passing through on my way through to Europe.

This hotel is better than a 5 star hotel in the U. S. The architecture is absolutely gorgeous. It is clean beyond measure and the staff are friendly and above par. My friends and I were very pleased with the accommodations.

Needs re furniture

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Everything was amazing from the valet parking service to the food service and housekeeping. Two points to make: 1. Need more lights in the room and bathroom 2. You cannot get sun at the pool due to the towers blocking it
