I always here when in Rochester No bugs But rooms need to be deep cleaned and carpets scrubbed. Rooms smell Doors are broken on sides and cant get in So very inconvenient Stagg is nice

Room next door had a noisy child.

This has been my go-to hotel for many years. Staff was wonderful in letting me checking very early after an overnight 12 hour drive. Will always use.

Good property. Lots of dining options within 100 meters. Dollar Tree store for conveniences/ snacks etc. Just 15 minutes from airport and RIT.

The first room they reserved for me, had a wet/musty smell. They gave me a new room, which had a body odor/food smell.

Well, being a nurse in the triage dept @ Highland Hospital is tough, but fullfilling, so being 'on-call' is sometimes a part of my job. I had Sunday evening off, but then got called ito work. Microtel wouldn't refund or even let me reschedule another date, so I lost $120.00 Wheres the love ?

It was very safe and the staff was kind and attentive. The room was clean and cozy. We enjoyed our time there.

The staff were fantastic! They dealt with my concerns quickly and even followed up with me throughout my stay to make sure that everything was all good. The breakfast was decent and the cookies in the lobby were a nice touch. The hotel itself does need some upgrades, but it was clean and again the staff were awesome and so friendly. Thank you to everyone who made our stay a pleasant one. Will definitely go back to this hotel if ever in the area again.

We had a nice one night stay. Staff were friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was mediocre. The juice machine was out of order. The elevator was a little shaky but since there’s only 2 floors, we used the stairs. Check-in & check-out was easy and quick. I would choose this hotel again if I was to visit the area again.

It was excellent. The staff were all so friendly and helpful- especially Brittany. We needed a crib and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had one. Would 100% recommend.

Great stay, room was upgraded because of faulty shower curtain rail that was broken. Very pleased with customer service to remedy the situation for my 2 night stay.

This is a safe and quiet hotel.

Love the hotel and location. We stay here every time we visit. My only comllaint would be the last 2 times we stayed its very evident someone is smoking pot in there. 2nd floor both times. Also one door goung out doesnt close all the way. Staff is amazing!

Clean

The room was expansive and well laid out with a very large bathroom with a multiple shower combo. The blow dryer in the bathroom had been pulled out of the wall by a prior guest trying to pull the extension cord! the front desk was advised to repair it to avoid a electrical problem. It would have been nice to have more vanity space adjacent to the sink. Wooden shelve is a bit tacky for the nice sized bathroom.

Room contained mini fridge, microwave, iron, hair dryer, coffee maker and television; a neatly made bed with an adequate number of pillows and a couch with a pull-out bed. The couch contained a multitude of stains and dog/cat hair; the two bar stools had white stains on them and dust on all all wooden legs. The workout/weight room was nice as it contained multiple treadmills and elliptical machines, dumbbell weights (from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs.) and yoga mats; yet, again the garbage can lacked a garbage bag, towels and sanitary wipes were not re-stocked, the TV did not turn on and the elliptical machines were not functioning. The hotel room and its bathroom smelled and contained visible mold/mildew. The bathroom, inclusive of sink, toilet, counters, light fixtures, shower and tub were filthy (i.e., thick layers of dust, black/brown mold, dirt, hair, etc.). The air conditioning unit was dangerously saturated with dust, which was verbally reported to the 'front desk manager' where I showed her photos due to my concerns that it posed a health & safety and/or fire hazard. Both filters had thick layers and clumps of dust; the coils also had dust, dirt and debris to such an extent that it was clear that the area was not dusted/cleaned for weeks, if not months. The complimentary breakfast was a nice amenity. When the front desk manager was informed of the room's condition (including photos) her response was simply, "thank you for letting me know;" no remedy offered :/.

It is a nice place to stay. When we entered the room, there was some kind of smell but got used to it quickly. There was no hot water when I took a bath.

Needs updates

I love this hotel, is right by the airport and I always stay here when I visit Rochester..

The bathroom was not clean. The toilet had feces in it and on the seat. Also the toilet and towels had hair on them. The front desk worker cleaned the bathroom herself to help us out. Which was nice.

We had someone knocking at our door in the morning at 9 am with noise complaint. It’s not hotel staff. We asked the hotel staff before checking to give us a ground floor room since we have kids who will be excited on a vacation and run around. The staff was not able to provide a ground floor room and let some strangers knock on our door.

Room is small and old. But the area is good.

Front desk person was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. LOVED the window seat. After a long hot day outside the room was perfect with the A/C on high when we got in. Nice quiet hotel, great for sleeping. Got a great cookie from the front desk on the way in, and a decent breakfast on the way out. Perfect stay!

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing and breakfast was pleasingly decent.

Hotel looks nice from outside, and the neighborhood is good. But the room smelt like dirty socks so we had to switch to a different room, which was slightly better. Breakfast was minimal.

First off the staff and everyone working there were amazing and friendly. Props to them! However our stay was not the best. Our bathroom door couldn’t close, there was not hot water and we had to get it fixed, our curtains were broken and it was hard to shut one side of the curtains, there was hair in multiple places in the bathroom and could have been cleaner. The breakfast also left something to be desired. The juice dispenser wasn’t working. The waffle batter was consistently too thick and wouldn’t come out of the dispenser. Also it would be awesome if they could add hot eggs or sausage. Lastly and this was out of their control, but we had neighbors that were yelling at each other and threatening each other at 3am. My kiddos were scared and we had a very hard time falling asleep after that.

Air conditioner very loud and started rattling 10 minutes on, gad to turn off. ff.

One of the worst motel experiences I've had. The motel was drerry. The room wouldn't have been acceptable in 1955. No bathroom counter. Not enough desk space for two computers. No dresser. The closet was two feet wide and had no door. Main bathroom light was dead. I could continue, but you can get the drift.

I loved the area that the property sets on. The young man on desk duty was fairy new but was so very nice.

Hotel is bit old so carpet are not in good condition. Not enough lights so was dull. Breakfast is minimal no breads and no hot breakfast
