Our stay was marked by having to change rooms 3 times upon arrival, as each and every room was covered in hair. This extended to the bedsheets and blankets with curly short hair everywhere. The neighbourhood is also sketchy, one side is the high-end New York cafe, unfortunately this side is rough. Another let down was that the pool shown in images is 30 euro per person per visit, which is highway robbery. When we finally got an appropriately clean room the in room laundry was appreciated and the space was comfortable. The shower leaks profusely on the floor whenever used, but extra towels were the solution. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were good. A special thank you to Jozef (sp) on the front desk, who put in as much effort as possible to turn around a bad first impression and correct our room issue.

The property is a little old and needs refurbishing. The area around is ok - not much around except the hyped New York Cafe.
We didn’t have breakfast but it looked very basic but probably worth the €15.
Staff seemed decent - some were nice while others were ok and not very forthcoming.
Housekeeping was good.
The rooms need refurbishing as they are old and it shows.

Please focus on cleanliness in the rooms. And guests should be able to get as many coffee pods s they request. Staff was helpful and friendly

We had the most amazing stay at NH collection. Was situated on a metro line, making getting around the city super easy. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The free fruit/sweets went down very well with our 5 year old as did his very own room key!!!
The studio apartment was perfect size for our family of three. Breakfastwas free for kids and had ample choice. Could access NEw york cafe and get priority seating from the hotel which was great. Gym was 24 hours and great. Slightly disappointed that the pool was not at this hotel and had to be paid for. I dont think expedia made that very clear. But we opted for a trip to the outdoor baths on st margarets island instead whixh was amazing!!

Having around 60 hotel accommodations annually, this was the first time I had to change room due to my neighbor smoking a joint (one after another) on the adjoining balcony, 2 meters away. The smoke was so thick that my room and clothes started to smell marijuana in a few minutes. At the reception there was no apology when I explained the situation so guess this was not the first time. If you book this hotel especially due to the balcony as I did due to extending my stay over the weekend, do not accept anything below the 5th floor as the inner yard rooms can be quite dark and the view is very poor. The location is great with metro next door, breakfast has a variety but food is quite tasteless. The coffee from the machine is like water. The coffee machines in rooms are using ILLY´s own capsules, be aware if you tend to have some extras with you when travelling. If in a need, the hotel has a good variety of international tv-channels.

The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities offered. Staff was professional and prompt to help. I had to ask for a doctor to come see my daughter that was not feeling well and this was quickly arranged by the staff. Breakfast was a nice buffet, charged to the room. This place is very well located, not so close to the city center but you can still walk there. I would definitely come back to this hotel on future visits to Budapest.

Our first apartment was very noisy from the road the first night, we spoke to reception the next morning and they immediately gave us another room. This was very quiet, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. I can highly recommend the hotel but if you need quiet it may be best to ask for a garden view room or a room on a higher floor. The breakfast was also excellent.

It was amazing!!! Budapest is a beautiful city and we’re 100% coming back soon to see things we didn’t have time to. The hotel is was the cherry on top of the whole experience. Very friendly staff, breakfast was superb, bed so comfy I didn’t want to wake up!! Whenever we needed anything, regardless of the time, they were there!! Amazing!!

Everything was perfect! Spacious 2BR apartment with clean rooms, amazing breakfast, courteous front desk, close to metro and very quiet. The manager was very nice and friendly as well. One of the best family trips we’ve had. Definitely coming back here and will highly recommended!

We have just returned from a 3 night stay which ws very pleasant. The hotel was efficient, welcoming staff and good housekeepers. The room was large with a good ranch of facilities inc. kitchenette and washing machine! The location was easy for a number of places, and excellent transport links for metro and tram/bus services.
Only issue we had was the heating/air con was not working. We tel reception that we could not adjust the temperature which was hot but they were unable to fix. We opened a window....also would suggest a better selection of pillows. No variety currently.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Once again. I hesitate to rate this place since it’s kind of a not well known what great place it is for the stay. A full apartment with all the kitchen facilities and washer forthe price of a hotel room-doesn’t get any better than that. Add to this the friendly and very helpful staff, location, and I could go on and on. Keep it on the down lo. 👍👍👍

We had an apartment with two rooms and bathrooms, big windows and nice light effect. There is also kitchen, fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Good position, just 5 min walking distance from metro 2. Also bus stops just few steps from hotel. Really recommended!

The hotel is centrally located and good for access and public transport to all tourist areas of the city. We benefitted from a free room upgrade to a duplex apartment which provided additional facilities including multiple bathrooms, kitchen, lounge area and laundry. In general the room and hotel was clean and well maintained. A couple of negative points were the exterior appearance of the hotel and the gym / spa. The entrance from the main road was closed and fenced off which made it first appear that the hotel was closed. The entrance was via a side road. The gym was not as well equipped as it appears in the website photo. The spa and pool are not part of the hotel and can only be accessed via another hotel at an additional charge of 25 Euros per person per visit.

The room was advertised as over 900 square feet. It seemed much smaller. It’s spacious but the furniture is ran down and outdated. Staff were pleasant.

Nice hotel centrally located and connects with the New York Palace (8 star with water starting at $16). However NH gives that feel in a much more affordable chain type hotel. Our room was an incredible large 1 bedroom suite and very affordable . Area around hotel is busy with a melting pot of people but amenities are ample in the area and walking or riding or skootering distance to everything. Would go back.

Overall, a pleasant hotel to stay. NH-Hotels is a typical middle quality service organization. Not specific to NH-Hotels but more related to Hungary: you really need to improve your language skills. A little more attention to cleaning and if you offer something, please make sure that the whole experience is customer proof. Room service works fine, until you want to get rid of your tray. Phone button doesn't work and at the reception nobody seems to understand what you as a customer is talking about.
Breakfast is for a medium quality hotel excellent. Staff is friendly. We had a studio, which worked for us very fine, since you have the perks of a hotel and the possibility to make your own dinner. Plenty of room to work or relax.

The rooms were really good, the shower cabinet though leaked some water outside but it was fine.
The hotel staff were so nice we went to New York Cafe for dinner and breakfast the next day the staff at the restaurant were so unfriendly to the extent I felt it was racist .
We went for breakfast at 8 Am and asked to be seated at the main restaurant but the hostess was insisting to seat us somewhere else but I insisted to stay at the main restaurant.
The hotel itself experience was great but the restaurant wasn’t
