This hotel is a little gem in Óbidos. Located just off of the main street and attached to the Letraria Óbidos, this hotel was perfect for us. The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and informative about the area, the room was spotless and smelled amazing as we entered the first time. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return again.

This is our second stay at this hotel. It is a great location inside of Obidos. Bed was comfortable, room spacious and breakfast was good.

Sofia on staff was helpful and courteous. She recommended a great restaurant, and took the time to talk to us about the area. Rooms were very comfortable, nice sized with a great balcony. Highly recommend.

Sophia checked us in. She was incredibly welcoming and lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. We weren’t able to get the AC to work as it was blowing warm air and the bed was a bit firmer than I prefer. Otherwise we enjoyed the accommodations!! Lovely location and property.

The staff are very friendly and professional. The rooms are very nice and are surround by the castle walls. Each person is giving a small sample of Ginja (cherry wine) which was nice to learn about. We were not impressed with the restaurants within the castle walls, however the breakfast offered at the hotel was delicious!

Very unique experience - inside the walled town. Driving and parking a bit of a challenge but this was part of the charm. Excellent staff/service.

Very nice room. Very polite and professional staff. Loved the extra little touches like the welcome note, drink and chocolate cake upon arrival. Had a great burger at the restaurant. Location is terrific right in center of the town.

This hotel is quite charming but it’s in an impossible position to access with a car. We spent 2 hours trying to locate the hotel using GPS and the directions the hotel gave us. In the end one of us walked in and arranged with the hotel to send us a taxi to get us there. All exhausting and unnecessary as the hotel could clearly have
given better instructions.

Great place to stay INSIDE the castle walls. Easy walk to everything worth seeing or doing plus food & drinks. Hotel staff was pleasant, professional & VERY helpful—made dinner resv for us at Nova Casa de Ramiro, a place that’s hard to get! They also found washcloths for us when asked (not normally in European baths). We stayed in the “Queen Isabel” suite—a nice treat up high & private. *ONE NOTE—plan ahead on your luggage. It’s a long tricky walk from the mandatory outside parking areas! But again, WELL WORTH IT!! Be sure to walk the all castle walls, try the sour cherry liquor with chocolate cups! THANKS TO STAFF❣️

Beautiful property inside the castle walls. Hotel staff, including Samuel, were so helpful and kind. We loved this hotel and being able to walk around the castle. The free parking is across the street in a public parking lot. Not a big deal once you know where to go. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is a great value if you want to stay within the walls of Obidos. We were able to walk with our bags to and from the bus stop just outside the lower gate so that was convenient. The breakfast was also good and the rooms are large. We would have given a higher rating but we needed a dehumidifier in the room. Everything was damp and stayed damp probably because of the age of the site and orientation toward the wall. Good stay over all though.

The hotel is in an excellent location; close to all the shops and restaurants and even walking distance to two grocery stores. The room was spacious, clean and quiet, we had a beautiful balcony overlooking the patio below and the old wall, we would occasionally see people walking the ramparts. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond, Ricardo at the front desk was extremely helpful with recommendations and very nice to talk to. Would strongly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel and we were welcomed with a Ginjinha cocktail. Only issue is the parking is not as noted on the reservation acknowledgement. You need to park in the lot where the public cars and buses park. You will need to roll your luggage to the hotel or contact them and they can help you. Very nice hotel in a cool area. Would recommend it.

The hotel itself was very pleasant, right in the middle of a very pretty town. We had an awful time with our luggage. We were unable to figure out how to drive in front of the hotel to drop off the bags. The desk clerk was no help, no maps and only a very general set of directions to drive around in a big circle. When we finally dragged the bags to the hotel, there’s a substantial set of stone steps to the front door.

The property was very well maintained. the rooms were perfect. The staff couldn't do more to make you feel comfortable. Walking the coble stone streets was a challenge. .

Beautiful property in interesting medieval castle town. Do yourself a favour, park in the available lot outside the castle walls and walk in. Not far from the town gate. Roads inside a bit stressful to navigate

We had a nice large room and comfortable room inside the city walls. However the shower controls needed work. Our friends who stayed in another large and comfortable room at the hotel also had problems with their shower controls. The hotel should address this issue.
