A very nice little bar in which to unwind after a day of driving

Staff was great and accommodating. Property was cool and historic. We enjoyed our stay.

Cool old hotel, nice little town

Very nice refurbished historic hotel. Several options for eating….nice patio where musicians played. Town making strides to upgrade downtown. Very quiet room. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is walking distance to some restuarants and coffee shops. The windsor restuarant is excellent, food is delicious. Also there bar is top notch. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again

This property surprised me. I was expecting an old hotel with minimal amenities. It was clean, well-lit, updated, charming, well-staffed & the restaurant was amazing. Definitely would stay here again when traveling in this part of Colorado.

We loved this hotel. It’s really beautiful and everyone was so friendly. Felt like we had stepped back in time. We had dinner in the restaurant and really enjoyed it. We will absolutely stay there next time we’re in the area.

The stay was excellent and the dining room at the Windsor was first rate. We had high quality food and service. It was a fun night.

We loved the history and the spirit of the hotel, and the people who work there are also wonderful. We had a fabulous dinner at the bistro/bar and were so impressed with the wine list and delicious options. We noticed that aspects of the hotel look as though they need some refurbishing, especially the wood floors throughout, quite a lot of the paint on the walls, etc. In our room the windows could not be opened and we wished for more air; there didn't appear to be any air conditioning, and we didn't really need that, but it would have been great to be able to open a window. Thanks for a very memorable experience. Del Norte is a small gem!

Staying here was a great choice. I wish we could have stayed longer but we were headed to a job site. We were in room 207 and it was huge. The king bed was firm and very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. Intersting history information on pictures on the walls. The building is very interesting. The room was nice temp and very quiet. Bathroom was a little cold because it is still winter and I didn't turn up the heat that was avaialble in there. If you want it warm just turn on the heat. There are you bathrobes so you can be cozy.

We love this beautifully restored 1870s hotel and the restaurant once again provided another truly superlative meal. The hotel bedding was very comfortable but the formerly cushy pillows have apparently been replaced with new and bigger synthetic ones that forced us to keep our heads cocked until we gave up on them. The heater fan was also quite noisy making sleep more difficult.

Charming, comfortable hotel, with friendly staff and spacious rooms. Definitely a nice change from the standard, modern hotels. It was fun to stay in a place that had modern amenities but so much history.

Beautifully renovated historic hotel with large rooms and modern amenities. It was clean and comfortable. The jars of ground coffee specially made for the Windsor were a special treat. We enjoyed a fine dinner in the restaurant one night and take out from the 1874 Food Truck on the property. Parking was easy and staff were always helpful. I recommend staying here!

Pristine in every way

Beautiful historic property in charming little town of Del Norte. The room was comfortable and beautifully appointed, the decor was sympathetic to the age and history of the building. Check in and out was super easy and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were really impressed by how clean & quiet the hotel was despite there being an event on downstairs when we arrived. Super impressed and can’t wait to tell our friends and family about this hidden gem in Colorado.

Very cute place, nice clean rooms. Only complaint is the mattresses are not very comfortable. They might be as historic as the hotel is :) the place is very nice and comfortable otherwise. Would definitely stay again.

Charming hotel. Unique, clean and well appointed room.

An incredible walk back in time. The Windsor Hotel makes you feel like you are staying in a vintage old western hotel but with modern amenities. The staff was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. Worth a trip through Del Norte just to stay here.

Many upgrades, like elevator and keyless entry make the stay comfortable along with a great shower and comfortable bed.The front desk was very helpful in explaining about the oldest hotel in Colorado and also making recommendations for dinner and breakfast. The dining room is only open a few days a week but there are good choices in town. All rooms are on 2nd floor.
