The location is great as the area feels safe and has many residents nearby and good restaurants within walking distance as well. The front desk staff was fantastic (I wish I could recall his name) but he guided us to a supermarket for distilled water needed for my CPAP (very necessary). The only misgiving is that I purposefully booked here due to the laundry facilities on site due to a cruise after several days in Barcelona. That is not quite true, they do indeed do laundry but it is not a laundromat or self serve; instead it is a separate third party service but again, the front desk saved the day by pointing to a laundromat just 2 blocks away! Overall, we were thrilled and will be back when we next visit Barcelona.

Wonderful stay at hotel . What a total rip off at La Rambla 2 beer 1 Coke and a sangria is a total rip off . I will never ever go back to La Rambla if l am ever in Barcelona. Taking advantage of the tourists . I have zero complaints about the hotel Luis was an excellent, took good care of us above and beyond . The bar at the left of the hotel was fantastic Owner was very dedicated to making you feel comfortable. Only thing l don’t like is you can not fine non smoking !

Staff was amazing … very prompt attention as my wife was not feeling well after a long flight.. they attended to us like family and made us feel more like family than guests,,, only wish I had longer stay

I spent 8 nights at Hotel Lugano. I found the hotel to be very clean and well maintained. I had a single room. It was small but plenty big enough for one traveller. They had recently changed the mattresses so that was perfect for a good sleep. The continental breakfast was very good-great selection. The staff were very accommodating and wanted to help in any way they could. If it was a jug of hot water and some milk so that I could make a cup of tea in my room or what subway line I needed to take the metro to Sagrada Familia or taking me across the street to flag down a cab that was heading to the harbour area they were more than willing to help. They were also very knowledgeable about their city and willing to make suggestions of things to be seen. The hotel was in a great location. Away from the heaviest tourist areas but with two metro stations close by so it was easy to access any point in the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Hotel Lugano is a great small hotel close to the Metro , restaurants and many tourist sites. The rooms are small but comfortable and the service is fabulous. The hotels staff were very attentive and helped with anything we needed. There is a good breakfast as well. I would certainly stay again if I return to Barcelona. definitely a great choice

The stay was good, and the amenities were good too, the only problem was the AC unit that was not cooling properly and the air inside the room wasn’t cooling, the rest was fine

Great hotel, very comfortable. Good location convenient for Montjuic. On Metro line from Barcelona Sants station and to Las Ramblas.
