It was late when I got there, they showed me the room but there was a leak in the roof in the bathroom and there was no other room available. It was late and I was tired and didn't want to have to go and find somewhere else to stay. Then when I was showering I noticed the rubbish bin had not been emptied in the bathroom. That made me uncomfortable about whether the sheets had been changed or not. So not a great experience.

Room was freezing on arrival & took 15mins for the heatpump to even start up. Room smelled musty. Carpet & first viewed bedspread were dirty with visible marks. Good shower pressure but wondered if there was a temperature restricter as wouldnt go as hot as we would normally run it. Broken light switch in bathroom, etc, etc

The space of the unit was great. The office personnel were friendly and the beds were comfy. However, cleaning appeared to be not a priority, such as on eating surfaces, i.e., table, dishes, bedquilt covers, and the floor. This needs to improve for my family to stay again.

My wife and I stayed in the two-bedroom "family" apartment along with my brother and his wife. The apartment is large and the layout is quite funky. It is constructed on 3 levels with the entrance at the lowest level, the kitchen & living room on the next level, and the bedrooms and bath on the top level. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other has 3 twins. There is another twin in the "living room." There is a single bathroom.
The kitchen facility was fine, with a rather large refrigerator. We cooked breakfast in the electric frying pan that was provided. We couldn't find a toaster, which we would have appreciated.
We used and liked the laundry facilities.
The hotel is located close to the university, and there is a convenience store located within a block. Grocery stores are walkable but further away.
This apartment was a good deal for the two couples.

Comfortable accommodation, basic amenities and on a Main Street so convenient for taxi/Uber and 5 minute walk to intercity bus near campus.
Several good restaurants. Buddha Stix restaurant for dinner and the Good Earth cafe for breakfast or lunch.
Campus closed for the summer so not every restaurant open but enough for our two night stay.
Managers kind and friendly and certainly working hard to make the motel a success.

Great stay for iur family, grandparent, parents and two kids, in the 2 bedroom apartment.
A very spacious unit.
Good location for university events.
Room was quiet.
Our flight into Dunedin was delayed and reception staff waited up for us til 10pm.

Although a no party policy a large loud group of 20 yr olds kept other guests up until almost 4am. Rooms were ok, but dirty skirting boards, carpets needed to be cleaned and dirty marks on the walls. There is no room servicing unless you request it, you need to get your own clean towels toilet paper and empty your own rubbish.
It was slightly cheaper than other options but this was reflective in the service and standard of the motel. The reception staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful, but it is a motel being run on a tight budget.

This place felt like a student flat than a motel to stay. When we arrived the whole place was damp, cold and musty smelling. Bathroom was very dingy and you could see the mildew and mould on the roof. It did not feel clean at all and we got this vibe as we walked up the step. Gave both me and my child asthma attacks and everyone as come down with colds this following week.

Had a slight issue at check in that our booking got.cancelled and we had not been notified by Expedia but yet it was already paid for. However,they were able to assist and got us a room in no time.
Highly recommended room was spacious and felt like home, having Netflix and YouTube was a bonus also the Kitchenette was very handy. Would stay there again.
