A nice clean inn on a quiet road. Next to the lake, small beach and kids playground. Bbq and firepit in the back. Ample parking. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. We intend to return in the spring.

The place was very clean, customer service was very good and the view was beautiful. Great for the value. I really want to be able to give 5 stars but it was super loud/hard to sleep with people moving around upstairs. I really don't think the other visitors were doing anything wrong, just there isn't enough of a sound barrier (maybe because of non carpeted floors). Also, we both had back aches due to the mattress. Would definitely return though, but would only stay upstairs next time.

Pleasantly surprised, nicer than I was expecting for an older property. Friendly, welcoming owner at check-in. Gorgeous view of the sunset. Will definitely book again for our next concert at Casino Rama.

We booked here as we had an early morning nature walk to attend and didn't want to get up at 4am to get here.
Great location & check in was very quick & friendly.
We were in one of the cabins which was spacious clean and comfortable.
There was a nice sitting area out back with the cabins, which being a very nice evening we used.
We come this way frequently & will definitely stay here again.

This is a true hidden gem! We loved everything about this place. The owners are lovely, and they have made this inn so beautiful. It is close to restaurants & casino Rama (we went to a concert at Rama). There are 2 floors to the inn & we were on the 2nd floor. No problem. Parking around the back of the building brings you right to the door of your room. No climbing stairs. The Lakeview is so beautiful from the balcony at the front of the inn. The rooms are very clean & have everything in them, including a mini fridge with a small freezer (not sure if all the rooms have a freezer in their fridge but ours did), a coffee maker, nice dresser & air conditioning. Lovely place. We will be back for sure!!

My husband and I spent a couple nights here. We enjoyed many things about our stay.... very clean room with great view to the lake...had a bonfire each night....plenty of room to get in a couple bocce ball games....and a super short walk over to the little beach. Staff were very friendly. Short drive to downtown where there is fabulous shopping and restaurants. We will be back!

The Lakeside Inn is a gem on Lake Simcoe It's a 2 story
motel style inn. My balcony room # 207 on the second floor was wonderful. It was clean, comfortable and everything I needed/wanted for my overnight.stay. Now, I wished I had stayed longer.
I could sit on the balcony and look at the beautiful lake, watch the geese come and go ( I do like Canada geese, they are so majestic), watch the boats head into and out of the the marina and just enjoy..
It's very close to downtown Orillia with all the shops and restaurants of every kind and of course beautiful revamped Couchiching Park where you can sit and watch the world go by.
I will certainly return and highly recommend it to one and all.

Our stay was great! We saw Brett Young in Casino Rama (8-minute drive away from the inn) and were extremely grateful to have a clean and cozy to relax in afterwards. The only complaint we had was the quality of water that was running through the pipes. It made our skin sticky and we didn’t feel clean after using it. I’m not sure about the septic systems in northern Ontario, so this may just have something to do with that. We will definitely be returning the next time we have a concert at Casino Rama! :)

The only bad thing was that my hotel room smelt like smoke. It doesn't appear they have true non smoking rooms but otherwise, it was a comfortable bed to sleep in. They did let me change to a less smelly room.
