The staff

A/c went out. Tried to fix could not then had water leak in ceiling then had to move to another room. Very inconvenience to us. A/c problem every time I stay at hotel. Breakfast was fantastic

It was a nice hotel, the staff was great.

Well priced for the oceanfront location.

Staff was very accommodating in moving me to a new room when there was an issue with the original room. The one improvement that needs to be made is having a safety box in the room. Front desk safety deposit boxes are not an ideal solution.

A lovely hotel right on the beach front. Our room had superb views oh the ocean . They wouldn’t let us check in although it was well gone 1.00 check in is at 2.00. My only issue was 8.30 in the morning they were just dragging tables and chairs across the floor making a horrendous noise. Would stay again as I’m sure it was a ‘1 off’ due to the new year party.

Everything was great but there was one girl behind the counter I’m sure she was the manager was very rude !!!!!

My overall stay was good but i booked what was described as ‘deluxe triple chalet’. So i was expecting a stand alone chalet(bungalow). But it was just a hotel room in a building with approx 50 other rooms. They call the bungalows(chalet) something else

Check In staff were Rude cold and Clinical, the domestic staff were fabulous and couldn’t help more than they did. For some reason this Hotel wants you to pay everything in cash I’m not sure what that’s all about. The rooms are tired and dated but if you pay for the extra balcony ocean view it’s fantastic. The light switches and power switches in your bed head or a joke because without knowing it you keep turning on the lights and unplugging switch in your sleep

Great staff at the front desk...especially the only gentleman and Ms Mill.

This hotel is very nice. Really enjoyed its nice pools and swim up bar. Very well run and efficient / friendly staff. Will stay again.

We are regular customers of this hotel. The hotel is perfectly located! But the cottage and chalet rooms are pretty old! however the customer service is good!

The room were a bit outdated but the house keeping was very good, the cleaning lady Bhu from Cambodia was very good and helpful.

Great location..Good pools.. Bathroom needs replacing with new shower, (not over the bath). Great eateries close by and Tuc tuc 10baht out the front along beach road . Rooms very large with good seating and balcony with sea views..All in all good value enjoyed our 4 night stay

The Grand Jomtien Palace must have been a real palace in her hey day. The overall condition of the common areas was good but my room could have used a refresh, new door hardware, coat of paint and a general make over. However that is small potatoes as the room was large and housekeeping was on point.

Good location. I had to change rooms due to music from market beside hotel. Room change no problem. Breakfast was busy and food not always available.

The hotel is an older property and everything in the room is worn. The restroom faucet was leaking and constantly dripping water. The shower head was broken and would leak water all over the bathroom floor during the shower. The soap dispenser did not work properly. Overall a poor experience. Positives include handicap access, great location near night markets.

A nice basic hotel with good location. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Two small nice pool areas. The breakfast was very crowded and lacking in quality and variety. The hotel was full of Russians, which brought its own nuance to the atmosphere. They behave the way they behave... We may not have to go again.

given a room with 2 twin beds pushed together to make a queen sized bed after falling in crack I requested a full size bed. I had to move to another room for this. When arrived in new room a/c did not work. It took 1-1/2 days to repair. the buffet had same food every day for 3 weeks. wow. I think concrete floor softer than bed, my body ached at night because it was harder than any bed I have ever slept in.

Stay in Grand Chalet Wing building, the staff were friendly, the room is huge, but the double bed is small and the bedding is old. No tooth brush offer.

Nice place by the beach. Bars and food vendors everywhere. Ocean water smell funny though. Phones in the rooms did not work too.

I would say the overall stay for this trip was disappointing but bearable. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Although we were a little annoyed that there was a 1000 Baht holding fee when we checked but we did get that back with no fuss. The area around the hotel was overall great. Right next to a 7/11 and night market making food shopping super easy. The downside to this hotel would be cleanliness… there were ants in the room walking about. The sheets didn’t get changed everyday as everyday, just bed making. My friend had red spots all over his legs and arms from sleeping in the bed but was alright for me so we weren’t sure if it were bed bugs or just some allergies. Food in the hotel was the most overpriced thing I’ve ever seen. Pretty sure it was like 200 baht for some Tom yum and that’s for sure a no for me. The TV was super static and unwatchable. Lastly, we didn’t even bother going into the pool as it looked like swamp water. Leaves in the pool, odd yellow tiles, just wasn’t clean. 2/5 stars at a push. I wasn’t expecting much anyway but damn it was disappointing. Free Wi-Fi and amazing air con though.

Great location with good views but owners lack of maintenance is showing

Breakfast was poor. It was tasteless and lukewarm. The tea was undrinkable. The beds were uncomfortable. We shared our breakfast table with tiny ants. Overall, the photos and description on expedia was a complete misrepresentation of what the hotel is actually like. The hotel is old, tired and unkempt and is in dire need of refurbishment. We are unlikely to stay there again
