I absolutely love the gardens and the surrounding village is charming. Really lovely to feel like you are in a quiet secluded spot that is surprisingly close to main routes and Bury St Edmunds. Woolpit is lovely and The Bull Inn was great.

We stayed 2 nights at the Bull Inn as a base for our visit to the nearby area. We slept there and had breakfast but no other meals (we arrived late one evening, were out all day until late the next day and left after breakfast the following day. Service throughout was friendly and polite; the room (one of several in an annex in the garden) was clean, fresh and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The gardens around the pub were beautifully maintained and parking was easy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we were going to be in the area.

Lovely village pub with traditional bar for drinking plenty of friendly locals. Restaurant is more modern and smart. Food is excellent. Room in a separate area just off a courtyard. V nicely decorated. Staff v friendly

What a gem! Good location, close enough to the A14 and to Bury - splendid room, great shower, very good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again, which I always reckon is the best review!!

Warm welcome and escorted to my modern and comfortable room… great powerful hot shower then down for a breakfast using local produce served with a smile… friendly and great value. Would recommend a visit!

The Bull In was a very nice place to stay. Staff friendly, great cooked breakfast. Room very clean and welcoming. Only slight thing was probably my fault, but I could not see any signage for where to book in, so went to the Bar which was very busy, but got sorted in the end. Happy days

Absolutely perfect for a short overnight stay. Staff couldn't be more friendly especially the young lady that checked me in and showed me to my room - unfortunately I didn't get her name ! Would thoroughly recommend !

Such a helpful owner who sorted just the right room for us in the courtyard. We had one dinner and 2 nights bed and breakfast. The room was lovely and comfortable with everything we needed including Taylors coffee bags and Earl Grey teabags! We will be going back later in the year.

Lovely place to stay. Staff were friendly and keen to make your stay enjoyable. Both breakfast and dinners were excellent. Would definitely come back and stay here. Set in a beautiful little village with a fab bakery too. Good location.

This is such a professionally run small hotel/pub/restaurant. We liked the attention to details that the owners have put into the smooth running of their operation. We would definitely stay there again as it’s a great location for exploring Suffolk and Norfolk.

One night stay. everything was clean and worked as it should. It’s a busy pub ( on a Friday) but the accommodation is in chalets just far enough away from the the pub for the noise not to be intrusive. Excellent breakfast Very happy would stay again

Very nice stay.. room in an annex next to the Inn. Nicely presented. Good team working there from arrival to leaving and bang on time with everything.

Very quiet village, full of character. Single room was in an annexe. Pub was closed for one day of my two night stay, so very quiet. There was a secluded outside seating area. The room was a good size. Toilet could have been cleaner and the shower entrance was a tight squeeze!! Wasn't aware there was no daily room service, but was asked if I needed anything instead. Staff were 👍 and so to breakfast. Would come again.

Really lovely place to stay. They have taken every effort to ensure comfort, quality and service. The room was well designed, good quality linen and towels, and sited in a quiet garden ensuring a good night's sleep. The food was excellent, really good breakfast, and all staff that we met were great. Will definitely be going back soon thanks

Very good value for money, enjoyable stay and a convenient location. Staff also friendly, would certainly stay again and happy to recommend. Only downside for me was the mattress was too soft and made my back ache, could of been a bit firmer. Also didn’t understand why I was given one and a half slices of toast for breakfast, what happened to the other half!! Although I don’t doubt the gentleman on breakfast duty would of provided more if I had asked.
