The cost is crazy for a small room but it was clean and modern. Upgraded to king bed and lake view, was a nice room just on the small size for a $406 a night room (after taxes and extras they get you on!!)
That being said, I’ve been in all the other big hotels in kenora and although cheaper.. this is by far superior!!

No breakfast, no pool/hot tub; both those would make this the ideal hotel. Otherwise, very clean- I tipped the cleaning staff well as they did a fantastic job, beautiful views of lake, and modern room/updates

The overall is good，The view is alsome. The room is quite small, and the soundproofing isn't good. It's already 10:30, and there's still loudly talking going on upstairs.

Updated older property had nice interior finishing with great on water views. The only critical issue was lack of hot water in the bathroom/shower. Even raising this issue with staff did not result in anything more than luke warm water.

excellent unique circular hotel on the water. free espresso/capuccino machine in lobby a bonus. lack of restaurant ok. easy convenient parking. nice waterfront cabanas and docks. yesterdays restaurant at travel lodge nearby great for breakfast. recent remodel. awesome views and very comfy room chairs and beds.

The views from the Lakeview rooms were great! I was a bit disappointed about the advertised outdoor seating area on the docks not being there. There was just a large empty dock. Used to be a patio out there. Website says it’s still there. The restaurant still not open due to fire. Was supposed to be open by the time we arrived and wasn’t. The pillows were lumpy and gave me neck pain. The renovations in the room are nice. Liked how it had a microwave and fridge. Probably wouldn’t stay here again for the price.

The mattresses were terrible it is advertised as "full service" but there is no restaurant and they didn't even have a breakfast buffet setup. For the cost of a night stay they could ata minimum have muffins, fruit, yogurt and juice setup. Extremely disappointed 😞.

We had a lakeside view once you saw passed the giant spiders and cobwebs on the outside of the windows the view was spectacular.
The guests beside and above us were loud with a large group of teenagers parents drank while the kids made an absurd amount of noise in and out of the room till early in the morning.
The manager said they understood and would switch our room and when we went for the roomkey they had no room available
The top floor Restaurant is under renovation and we werent informed until we checked in.

Excellent comfortable rooms. Not a single amenity however. No restaurant or bar, which I did not notice being mentioned on the Expedia site. At |- $250/night, that was completely unacceptable. Staff were nice and everything spicy and span clean.

Beautiful views and very good location. Rooms are great- every one has a great view. Just need to reestablish the restaurant & bar on the top observation floor and perhaps a snack/coffee shop on the main floor.

It was newly renovated and very clean. There was no onsite restaurant at the time but i think it was in the works so coming soon. There were some restaurants close by however. Very scenic.

Did not know the restaurant was under renovation when I booked. Somewhat inconvenient to find a breakfast place nearby. Hotel should have at least provided a list of suggested restaurants in vicinity.
There is a significant gap under the hotel room door which allows all the noise in the hall to be heard.

Hallways are incredibly loud. We were woken up multiple times by large groups talking. It sounded like they were in our room.
Staff were great and rooms were clean but do not recommend if you’re looking for some R&R.

To find nothing was done. Called front desk
First they tell me cleaning staff gone home
I threatened to report they send cleaning staff and changed . Elevators did not work for 10-25 minutes had to wait .
Finally asked for some wine glasses , they say we only have paper cups ; I went out and bought hotel will not provide .
Shame on hotel as they are the most expensive in the area don’t even provide the minimum.

When you pay $400 average per night, you expect atleast they will mention to the guest upon arrival that restaurant and pool are under renos, but NO!!!. Also, it will make a difference if you're staff would atleast know some places or things to do around your area as mostly of people staying at your facilities are tourist. Overall, our first visit in Kenora was very pleasant.

The new remodel if very nice, certainly now the nicest hotel in Kenora. We will stay there on our next trip. Hopefully the restaurant/lounge will be open then.
