I've stayed at the ibis budget Girona on numerous occasions when visiting with my bike to ride in the region. The staff are always very helpful, unfailingly polite and the evening buffet dinner is not only delicious but excellent value.

The room is was so basic it felt like a prison room you see on documentaries.definitely not worth the money we paid.

Safe and quiet - too far from airport

Always a pleasure staying at the ibis budget Girona. Staff super helpful with arranging a taxi to the airport etc. Only negative was no air-conditioning due to a temporary fault but still a pleasant stay.

We had to leave a day early because of a train strike in FRANCE. Not Ibis fault, I KNOW, but they refused to refund the night we had to cancel. I Felt somewhat aggrieved at their inflexibility to a problem not of my making.

Another enjoyable stay at the ibis budget Girona. Helpful staff and convenient for visiting the Old Town.

Good value for money if in a budget

Emergency night needed at inexpensive hotel, missed rental car pick up. Exactly what we needed and price was right.

What you can expect from a budget stay. Nothing exciting but it was comfortable.

For us this is a great stopover point en route to Costa Blanca. Friendly and helpful staff. Slight issue with check-in, wrong room given already had occupants, was slightly embarrassing when we opened the door and some folks were already in bed. Whoops! Anyhow, quickly sorted.

The room was very basic, but it was clean and suitable. The service and staff were fantastic! They let us drop our suitcases off early while we went sight-seeing. In the evening, the restaurant was kind enough to make us a special order pizza instead of the buffet.

We stay here enroute to the Costa Blanca it's a perfect stop over for us being roughly halfway from home in France. I must remember to ask for a room at the rear of the hotel, there's far too much road noise at the front.

Another restaurant is located about 10 minutes walk away. The old town centre is a short taxi drive away, and the Old Town is stunning, make sure you find your way into the huge town square, as well as exploring the streets on the opposite side of the river.

20 minutes from the airport so an ideal place to get your head down after a late night flight. Stayed here a few times, arriving around 1am - 24 hour reception which is great.

The Ibis Budget Hotel at Girona was generally comfortable with a good shower room and breakfast and a reasonably priced evening meal, but our stay was let down by an air con unit that produced noise but without any cooling and coupled with a window that only opened a few cm and a very warm night meant that it was difficult to sleep.

A budget hotel it maybe, but VERY basic not impressed

Even though advertizrd as having AC, it is non existent on my stay may 10, reason its not turned on until weather is hot. On that day its very hot. After i complain they said will give you a fan, no fan materialized. Then they said its on, wait about 10mn. We waited all night, no AC, we had to open window, noise from highway bothered me. Did not get a good night sleep Deceiving advertise. I wont come back

Great budget hotel. Very clean rooms. Next door is the sister hotel where there is a dinner buffet and bar open quite late. Would stay again!

Fine location when you know that bus #2 takes you to town.

Basic room, not a lot of space but clean. Ideal for a short trip from the airport (Girona) if you have a late night arrival and just need to get your head down. Parking isn't the best - you can pay 5 Euro or park on the street if you can find space.

The low light of our stay was when I pulled down the duvet and found blood on the sheet. Would not stay at this property again.

This hotel does exactly what it says on the tin, ie budget. Therefore conditions are basic but if you don't mind that then that's the hotel for you. It was very clean, no coffee making facilities in the room but we brought our own traveling kettle so didn't mind that. The hotel also serves a basic breakfast as well. It is within walking distance to the old part of Girona, about 10 min walking. If you hire a car the hotel charges €8 per night for parking, however there's some free parking near by which is where we parked. We paid £104 for 3 nights' stay and we have no complaints whatsoever
