Well I wouldn't know cause they didn't let me clear my reservation said they don't rent to locals. Ok kus I don't even know if I got my money back from them denying my reservation

First thing I was told that they don’t rent to locals but would make an exception since we had already booked.

Towels were filthy. Looked like someone had used one to remove eye makeup, and the other to clean an ass then folded up and put back on the rail, refrigerator was so loud I had to unplug it, and the hotel is next to a busy freight rail line so there was a lot of noise from that.
Breakfast was terrible. Coffee was so strong it was undrinkable, and the option was waffles or a cake, not exactly nutritious nor diabetic friendly.

it was okay they don’t really keep it clean, i saw a couple stains on the wall and the receptionist are awkward and a bit unprofessional don’t know whats going on most of the time. Also i booked through hotel.com app and then showed to check in and i was told there were no rooms available.

I loved the a staff at the front desk her name was herminda she was so sweet and very friendly and help me out very very polite she makes this hotel .

My deposit was not paid, there was no hand soap in it, the bed covers were dirty, the breakfast was not good, but the hotel is very good for the price.

The pool was closed the entire time I was there and they charged me 377.16$ for no reason and apologized about it and I still haven’t received the money back and it has been 4 days

Some of the staff were partaking in some ganja. Smell right on my room and on the way to the continental breakfast. The continental breakfast was severe limited to make your own waffles and fruit cups. The coffee was OK. The bar was good. Given the right staff, this place would be charming

i would never stay here, now i am staying in La Quinta on the same street, really friendly staff there and more safe then Haword Johnson. looks like i stayed in Motel 6.

i reserved a room with 2 queen size beds and they were full size beds they argued with me and said they don't have queen size even though that is what it said on line they over charged me 100.00 and i had to wait 5 days to get my money back i will never stay at this hotel again it was the worst experience I've ever had.

Then they charged a $50 deposit at the time of check in when no we’re on there website said they charge a deposit only for pets and even when I called reservation and spoke with someone about prices they didn’t mention a 50$ deposit now we have to wait 5-10 to get it refunded

We stayed for just a night to rest from too much driving. We thought since its Howard Johnson, then quality is good. We were wrong. The property is old and some questionable people lurking around the area. The room is small but in a way clean. Towels are good for only 1 person and the advertised breakfast is non-existent... not even coffee. I will not recommend this place for even a night.

If there was a way to take stars away i would. The only expectation that should be set is expect no breakfast, no wake up calls, no good mornings, no acknowledgement of walking in and expect to be disappointed. Pictures are over complimenting this place.

Stella was so sweet and helped me check in no problems.

Front end staff entered my 105 and stole my JBL wireless speaker, worth 150$ cents left it and b the bed. I came back close to 11:00 to check out and my speaker was gone. I looked over and under the bed. Nothing. He needed it more than I did.

The pool isn't open, water damage to ceiling above shower, there's no hot breakfast, doors and key cards barely worked, AND the day of check out, our keys were deactivated before 11am. Do not stay here.

Super inconvenient compared most modern hotels, lobby stays locked besides a small room with a window to talk to guest services after hours which was like 6pm until idk when in the morning, and that’s if they are actually in the back room. When I checked in it took a solid 15 minutes of standing there in this little humid room as it was after hours while the clerk seemed confused by my reservation but in that 15 minutes never said a word to me, not rude but slow..
