Room had a great view and it was close to all amenities.

The location is amazing. We had a balcony right across from the beach. The view was amazing. Ask for one of these rooms.

I have stayed here several times, excellent location across the road from the beach. Parking provided included, walking distance to everything, free wifi which was excellent,room was clean and bathroom, just a bit dusty. The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet and peaceful had a balcony and ocean view.

Perfect location....situated right in the centre of Lorne...easy walkable access to shops and beach...property is showing its age a little and the bathroom was a bit gloomy and old...shower wasn't very clean but overall it was ok...will definitely return but might get another room :)

Very friendly staff and easy check in. Room was clean and bright and very comfortable. Best location in Lorne! A security door would be a handy addition to the room to allow fresh air and keep out any bugs!

close to shops and many dining options

Great location and my standard room and amenities suited my needs. There was a lot of noise from rooms above until late each night - TV, scraping chairs and elephant footsteps. Could also hear my adjacent neighbours conversations through the wall. Glad I brought my earplugs along. Otherwise a great experience and facility.

The housekeeping lady was a bit grumpy butni intend on staying again.

Nice hotel where everything met expectations

Great great great - stayed here before MANY years ago, and always wanted to come back - we did at last ! We had a few days, this is a perfect location, as you are right in the main street of Lorne (some rooms are above the shops, others a bit further back). We had one of the ocean view rooms, king size bed, room / bathroom SPOTLESS, it had a balcony where you could sit out on and watch the day past, be it people in the park opposite, or out to the ocean - BLISS ! (especially with the obligatory glass of wine in hand !). If you want it quiet, the sliding glass door knocks out all noises (even with it full open - how we had it every day - it is not really a noisy place). There is on-site parking, 3 days and never used the car - lots of walking - be it to the pier, along the elevated ocean front walking track, or the opposite direction to the old swing bridge (which has a cafe on the beach end ~ a good lunch spot !). Many different places to eat, and of course you have the Lorne Pub just a few min walk away (always nice out on the deck on a sunny day). Also enough different shops to keep you amused. Online staff were great, as was the desk staff - happy and willing to help as needed. Pillows great - nice bedding - clean bathroom - clean room - cold fridge - coffee and tea stuff - toaster - cutlery, plates, glasses etc. Overall - a perfect place for our 3 nights away ! Thank you Sandridge ! We WILL be back again one day !

Great location. Lots of amenities in the room including dishes and cutlery much appreciated. Huge classics dvd collection. View of the ocean or at least a tiny slice of it from my particular room. Very accommodating to late evening arrival of soaking wet bicyclists!

Loved the ocean view ...So peaceful .. The room was clean and all facilities provided. More sink space & shelving would have added convenience when using the kettle to get water

We booked and arrived late but were met and accommodated with wonderful service. Rooms were large and well appointed.

Great view of beach from balcony

It was lovely sitting out on the balcony even with the busyness of the street. Room was spacious. It was not so fun to have to wash crockery and cutlery in the bathroom basin and there was no full length mirrow, though there was a walk-in wardrobe with enough hangars and that was nice.

Couldn't get any more central than this location, and great views to boot.

Loved being in the centre of the Lorne.Few steps from the beach and a million dollar view of the ocean.Just open the balcony door and see,hear and smeel the ocean.

Yhis was our second time staying at The Sandridge Motel. The motel is right in the heart of Lorne, with a very quick walk across the road, and you will be right on the front beach. It is located very close to shops and restaurants, there is no need to move the car once you arrive!
