Room is basic and a little old. Several cobwebs on the ceiling. Bathroom is clean. Proprietor very cheerful and efficient at check-in. Not great value.

The view, as the name says, was wonderful. It's in a little quieter part of town which we liked.

Basic room with poor TV reception. Unfortunately, not enough water pressure to get wet in the shower. We didn’t require much but a shower was impossible. Would not stay again.

There was spider webs seen everywhere and a spider in right top of the bed. Leaking gutters not fixed. It’s pretty average place for that price.

Friendly owners and upstairs room had a little balcony with a 180 degree view of ocean. Quiet and comfortable.

Our stay here was relaxing and very enjoyable. The owners were very accommodating and friendly.

The view from our balcony was superb! Staff friendly and helpful. Short walk to town!

Three of us stayed for two nights in room 5. Clean room, comfortable beds, carpet not worn. Room size good. Has small sitting area if you want to eat; we sat comfortably. Large windows (can open) for good light. Combined bathroom/toilet room decent size, not too small. Clean, appears relatively up to date. A few minor things but nothing serious: 1. Shower looks little dated/tired (tiles/taps). Small vanity unit; benchtop is too small, just a little larger than the basin. Adding shelves in bathroom would be great to increase storage. Adding additional towel rack for 3rd person would be good, too. 2. Power points required at two bedside tables. Only one bedside table had a dbl power point. Minor annoyance when trying to charge multiple devices between three people. There is a dbl power point where the kettle is; was used but generally people like to charge at bedside while sitting up in bed at night. 3. Taps on vanity unit leaking a little and slightly difficult to turn; they require pulling apart and regreasing (I mentioned this to the owners and they'll fix it) 4. Shower taps have a rattle/knock when running water; easily resolved by turning tap either way. Taps need refurbishment as per vanity unit (I mentioned this to the owners and they'll fix it). 5. Water leak; carpet was getting wet directly opposite the shower wall. The single bed is placed in this area. (I mentioned this to the owners). Minor issues. Will stay again. View of beach as well. Owners friendly.

This place is disgusting. Mould everywhere. Mosquitoes been squashed and left dead all over the walls. Not even habitable. Not sure how they continue to operate. Do NOT book to stay here. It is terrible.

The property was really clean and the room was really clean. Highly recommended!

Room was filled with mosquitoes & vinegar flies. Rusty shower head. Just keep driving to another town.

Love the frontal view of the beach as we purposely chose the 2nd floor. Could have been better if the room had its own microwave, otherwise, every things is good!

Location, size of the room and view were all good. As was the couch, table & chairs and bathroom. The bed was really hard, the milk was out of date in the fridge, the TV was very old (didn't have HD functions) and small (!!), the sliding door to the balcony would not close letting cold air in at night and VERY hard to move. Car parking was extremely tight. It was just tired and in need of some TLC... but the pillows and view were teriffic!

What a terrible place. They rely on the location and view but the standard is the lowest I have seen. First thing we noticed was how dirty the passage and stairs to the room was, lots of leaves and debris. Small room, lots of marks on the walls, stained carpet, no wine glasses in our room even though we saw wine glasses in other rooms through the windows. Wifi was terrible kept dropping out, TV was small and old would not do HD and reception was bad and kept cutting out. Realised in the morning there were no towels, just two hand towels, had to use them to dry us after shower, pathetic that’s basic stuff you expect at a motel. Had to laugh, there was a toaster in the room but no plates or knives. This standard you might expect for $50 a night but not the $180 we paid. Absolutely disgraceful

Room was small, but clean and adequate. However, the real winner is the view from the rooms. Great view over the river and the ocean. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the building itself could do with some updating as it does look a little dated.

It's good value. It would be good to have a microwave oven available. The only criticism is the noise from the car park in the early evening. Would stay again despite that though.

Our room was a little dated & run down which I could look past but the musky odour was not great , bed was comfortable and view from window was ok looking out over to the water , if you want cheep accommodation then this is for you , probably wouldn't stay there again , worth spending the extra money somewhere else , sorry.

Unbeatable views of the river and ocean from upstairs rooms. Comfortable bed, room had couch, fridge and dining table. Parking was fairly tight.
