The hotel is charming and centrally located. Sintra is a beautiful city with many enchanting palaces to see. The city is very walkable. In Sintra, the Uber and taxi fares' costs were reasonable. Ella, our hotel receptionist, gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. The buffet breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend the Sintra Boutique Hotel if you are visiting Sintra, Portugal.

The Sintra Boutique Hotel is located in the very heart of the historic center of Sintra. The Sintra Palace is almost directly across from the hotel, and the Quinta da Regaleira is a short walking distance as well (10 minute walk). The hotel room was fine and clean. The staff at the reception area was very friendly and informative - providing maps and other info on Sintra. The hotel has a parking area, but is not located at their property. It is located on or next to their sister hotel (Bliss Hotel). After you drop of your luggage at the Sintra Boutique Hotel, it takes about 25 minutes to drive to the parking area - which is a safe one. Luckily, it only takes a 5 minute walk up to the hotel from the parking area. (I would avoid driving in Sintra. If you are staying in Lisbon, take the train from the Rossio Station to Sintra.) Please know that there are many shops and several restaurants near the hotel. As most folks come to Sintra on a tour, this overly busy town is very quite in the evening and early mornings. The hotel has a restaurant as well, and the breakfast was wonderful. Whenever I return to Sintra, I will be returning to this hotel - but I will certainly not drive there. By the way, as Sintra is now overrun by tourism (e.g., it appears to be the DisneyWorld of Portugal), so you MUST get your tickets to the Palaces on-line way before you go, This includes the Sintra Palace, the Pena Palace and the Quinta da Regaleira. Tickets are date/ timed stamped entrances.

You can’t park close and will have to pay. We are finding most hotels don’t provide parking and you will have to pay some hefty parking fees. The hotel is really nice. Comfortable, nice breakfast, super helpful and friendly staff. The staff was the best part of our stay. They were knowledgeable and even suggested some things that we were glad we did. The location for seeing the sites was perfect.

My friend and I visited Sintra on our way to Lisbon and stood at the hotel for 1 night only. The stuff communicated well before we came to the hotel. Teresa was outstanding and met us at the door. Parking was affordable and right in front of the hotel, providing an easy access in otherwise busy Sintra.
The room was very clean. Our only suggestion would be to arrange an easy access to an iron and ironing board, which was not available at that time.

Very nice hotel in Sintra. Bus to Pena palace stops outside right in center of town. Room spacious comfortable bed. Excellent buffet breakfast. Staff friendly. Only have coffee maker in room, so not so good if you are a tea drinker.

My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights and cannot fault it. Staff were lovely & helpful, the room was clean and the location was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice and helpful reception staff. Great buffet breakfast. The room was good and overlooked the National Palace. There was a nice patio on our floor where one could relax or receive guests. Eurosport channel on TV so we could watch Roland Garros tennis. Very good location close to the bus stop and to restaurants. Highly recommended.

Lovely team at the reception. Especially Raphaella who works evenings. You can see she has a passion for hospitality. Very conversational. Gave us great recommendations on restaurants. The hotel itself is nice and clean. Great location. Breakfast was good just did not like the tables being placed together so had to eat with strangers. Maybe if breakfast opened earlier. Even 7:30 would be better. 8am is late for the demographic that stay there so everyone eats at the same time.

I knew it was madness even to drive TO Sintra. But the hotel was very helpful in trying to help me manage the downsides of coming by car. They advised I park the car immediately and use Ubers, taxis, or TukTuk to get around locally. Check! They had awkward, but OK off-site parking in an enclosed lot a few minutes walk from the hotel. Not great! The keypad activated door closed with us inside the lot. One [70 ] person had to climb over the enclosure wall to let the others out! [No keypad inside the lot!! Bad!!] Then later trying to return to the hotel by car to pick up luggage was a horror! Though only a 5-minute walk from lot to hotel, it was almost a 20-minute drive on insane one-way systems back. The hotel itself was delightful. Staff very helpful. Location very convenient. If only we hadn't had a car!

Great location with easy access to the main attractions. The front desk team is very helpful, polite and eager to please. Super clean room, a nice breakfast spread with good service. Parking was included and the staff handled it all, which is very helpful given the traffic and narrow road. Highly recommend. Will be back.
