It was a one night stay, as I work pretty close to it. It was fine, clean and convenient, so in case having so good deals again for the private bathroom rooms, then I am happy to return again.

Excellent hotel in a good location, very good value for money and the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. convenient for public transport and a short walk from a main commercial street.

OK to stay for a couple of nights! One gets what one paid for. Lovely little garden inside the yard.

Older family building in old Budapest, but I had clean, comfortable, and safe accommodations. Gabor was very helpful in providing tourist information about the city. Central location with lots of shops and markets within walking distance. One can walk to major tourist sites by the Danube within 30 minutes. Overall good value for my stay.

Could have been better. Location excellent. Use of kitchen an asset but being open from 9 am ( sometimes a bit later) was not helpful for me being an early bird. Encountered problem with tv , although, when travelling, I only watch the news.The TV was ok on the first day but was not for the following 6 day. The other problem was that the towels were changed on the first day but not on any time for the remaining 6 days, The waste bin was never emptied.

The guest house is quite pleasant. The manager at the reception was really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The property is good value for its price. It's clean and cosy. As for drawbacks. This is the 8th district which is least attractive by cleanliness. Lots of immigrants and signs of poverty. However they seem harmless. Nevertheless, this property is really close by walk to the famous New York cafe and stop of the hop on bus tour. Not far from the center at all. Noisy neighbors can be anywhere...

Nice small inexpensive facility. Narrow streets, not too good parking space, but doable. Manager guys are friendly and helpful, rooms are not too fresh but clean and comfortable enough. Plenty of plants outside and nice birds singing.

It’s a nice quiet place to stay for a few days. Even with family. Only one thing I didn’t like that was the neighborhood. I didn’t check it before. Bed was comfortable. And they cleaned the room daily. The cleaner got 5 stars from me, because I left expensive stuff in sight, she didn’t even touch anything. That’s why I trust in them. Overall experience is high. The price was great. The owner was very helpful and respectful. Thank you!

Comfortable and relaxing. Good value budet accommodation in the old part of the town. Within walking distance of the trams. Wonderfully helpful staff. I would certainly stay here again.

Place is very close to city centre, clean room, easy parking. Staff very friendly, definitely recommending!

The staff were amazing they treated us very well location around 15 min waking to the attractions I had a room with a share bathroom was very clean it is a house with some rooms but I loved simple clean comfortable and the price was great if you drive easier to park and free parking.

Garden House Budapest was not just a bed whilst we were visiting, it was part of the experience. From the outside, it might not look the best HOWEVER, it was amazing on the inside.From the start, the staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We cannot state how great the staff are - go to Budapest even if it is just to see the superb team! Their English was impeccable and they made sure we were happy throughout the whole trip. With the relaxed atmosphere they created, we felt like we could ask questions on our own terms. Fresh towels, toiletries and tourist information were given always with a warm smile. The staff were very genuine and really do care which was safe and comforting to know. We booked a triple room with a private bathroom and was very clean. Fresh towels, miniature toiletries, wardrobe, kettle (with tea and coffee), TV and the saviour that is, an electric fan were provided. The room was on the top floor meaning it got VERY warm VERY quickly but the fan and the skylight-windows helped. The tv was the only downfall: it could only pick up shopping channels. But that is not to take away from the amazing service Garden House Budapest offers - plus we were never in the room long enough from all the exploring. The location of the accommodation was amazing - not too far, not too close. About a 20 minute walk to the centre and riverside and a 10 minute walk to a McDonalds and a Spar however there were closer corner shops. Cant go wrong for the fair price!

Very helpful and friendly staff, who went so far as to arrange a free parking space right in front of the hotel. Facilities were clean and a good value for the low price.
