Reception was very friendly.

The Esquire was perfect for our stop on our cross country trip. The owners accommodated our room request and we’re very friendly and kept the room and property clean and comfortable. The location was very close to the quaint, historic downtown, which had a mixture of both modern and older establishments. Close to casinos if you like that and a short walk to an excellent Mediterranean restaurant. The Esquire had a nostalgic vibe to it, but was not dingy at all. Very pleased with the quality of the accommodation.

Clean hotel room just as pictured. Quiet except we had the room under the stairs and the stairs and people in the room directly above us were very much heard. I was charged $5.00 more for the room than was quoted from the Hotel App reservation but because it was only $5 I didn’t mention it. Breakfast was strictly bananas, apples, cold cereal, bite size muffins and yogurt. Coffee was also served. Would stay again because it is hard to find a good clean room for around $100.

The price and other reviews were the reason I chose this property. There had been recent upgrades to the room which was nice and the staff , which I believe are the owners, was very friendly and helpful. They even called me after I checked out that I had left an item in the room so I could return and retrieve it.

A great place to stay to break up the travel on a road trip. Marriott-worthy beds; spacious and very clean rooms.

This is an older property run by a delightfully quirky Indian couple. It wasn't much to look at, but they maintained the dated property very well. Clean and neatly painted, garden beds filled with petunias and blooming edible pea plants. The front road is pretty noisy, but the AC ran all night during the warm summer night in Elko, so it really didn't bother us at all. Breakfast is a stand-up or go back to your room affair. Price was very modest and a good value it you just want a bed and a shower.

I felt like I was back in the 70’s. Wish they had separate hair conditioner instead of shampoo/conditioner all in one. Didn’t even consider the breakfast snacks they offer. Went across the street for a latte at Cowboy Cafe and there was a breakfast place next door. It was a fairly reasonable and decent place to stop for the night. Nothing fancy but kind of fun bringing back memories of the 70’s.

We stayed one night and would absolutely return. We stayed in room #141, top floor King. The bed was SO comfortable and the A/C keep the room nice and comfortable. The parking could be a bit tricky for larger vehicles, but we were able to manage. The best part of our stay...the Owner/Opporator was so nice and helpful! You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his property. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Definitely would stay again!

truly pleased with everything about the hotel

Very nice place to stop overnight for us. Stayed here once before. Had a place for our oversized vehicle/camper. When I went to get something from my vehicle the attendant asked what I was doing & I was grateful & thankful for the concern for my property.

Great service and nice rooms (for a motel). Decent little continental breakfast. Nice breakfast restaurant and coffee shop just across the street if you want more.

The owners were very considerate and helpful. We needed to store a large ice pack in the freezer but didn't have the space in our room fridge. They graciously allowed us to store it in theirs til we left. The previous travelers had changed the settings on our TV so we weren't able to watch it. The wife immediately came to our room and was able to set it up correctly for us. We were impressed by the high tech of the TV and also how many cable channels were available to us. The room was very clean and looked like it had recently been remodeled. The tiles on the bathroom walls and floors were quite attractive. The beds were super comfortable. The sheets were very clean, we didn't worry about sleeping on them. The parking area had concrete work in progress but we were still able to park close by our room. It was good to see that the owners were doing everything they could to update and upgrade the facilities. The cost for the room was very reasonable and worth the money spent. The only down-side which was not the owners fault was that their location in Elko NV was still in "drought condition" so I was unable to take a hot bath. The shower worked fine, the water pressure was good and the water was hot. They offered a nice continental breakfast and had a good variety of items. We are very pleased with our stay and we would stay here again if we were in the area.

Check-in was very efficient and friendly. We asked for a room on the ground floor and was given one right away. Staff was so friendly, you felt like you were visiting a friend. The room was very clean and decorated very nice. Parking was available very close to our room. Would stay here again when passing thru.

We were greeted by the clerk and given our room key. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The parking lot was very small and difficult to get into when full.

Extremely clean, comfortably furnished, locally owned motel in Historic Downtown Elko. Really appreciated that there were plenty of ports to charge all our devices. Great location for walking and exploring, several locally owned restaurants nearby. The two restaurants we tried were excellent. Really enjoyed our stay!

Nice little motel. Great for a quick visit. We checked in at midnight and left later in the morning. Clean and very large bed. Included fridge and microwave. Very comfortable. Very nice staff.

First I was greeted with a friendly smile. So easy to check in. The room was quaint, very clean and the bed was so comfy. After about 12 to 13 hours of driving, this place was exactly what we needed. It is an older place but it is obviously put together we love. Thank you very much for the much needed rest. Last, checked out with that very warm smile. This will be our stop for now on, traveling through Elco. Oh and extremely reasonable rate!
