Bad smell and not clean

I cant smoke cigarette

My Mother in law and sister in law were booked here by me. Many parts of room were dirty and bathroom door knob broken. They left to find another motel.

The motel is old and outdated. Furniture is beat up and room smelled. Probably the worst room I ever stayed in

Curtain was broken, so anyone from the outside could look inside. Staff was friendly and helpful in general.

The absolute worst motel/hotel I've ever stayed in. When we closed the door, behind it the door frame was COVERED IN MOLD. The floor was covered in filthy carpet. The corner next to the sink was covered in black mold, from the counter up to the ceiling, about 4 inches wide. The bedspread had holes in it, and the 'pleather' headboard was torn through to the sponge and covered in grease and dirt. We slept halfway down the bed to avoid the gross headboard. The sheets were surprisingly clean. The fridge, bathtub, towels, and toilet were clean. But the floor in the bathroom was gross. It's literally next to a heavy train line. The maid entered our room at 9AM while we were still in the bed, because there are no "do not disturb" signs. There were also mouse traps on the floor in the corners of the room, but we never saw a mouse. I looked behind the night table looking for a plug in, the amount of garbage and dust was shocking. Took about 20 minutes (at least) to get to the university area, whyte ave, and downtown from the motel, because you had to drive through high traffic areas to get anywhere.

It needs a thorough renovation. Bad odour in the room.

Bring an air purifier. This motel shows its age & smells like second hand smoke. Fortunately the beds were comfortable and clean. Sufficient if you just need a place to crash. Hopefully they can afford renovations, soon.

rude staff and dirty room. no late checkout. only good part was the price

A good clean and affordable motel for a nice get away ,close to stores and restaurants also, will definitely stay again

Horrible. It looks like a crack shack and reeks like drugs and cigarettes with torn apart upholstery just really needs renovations. Lots of illegal trafficking going around there. I felt very unsafe during my stay there. Lots of pestering people and lots of police.

I liked the fact that it was close to lots of shopping

room was nice, furniture was dated, front desk people very nice to deal with

Everything was just nasty the maid did such a horrible job

Only take cash as deposit, no Receiot for transaction so we will see if I get it back.

This is not a four star motel. But if you're just looking for a bed and a bathroom at a decent price then this is the place for you. We stay at the Derrick everytime we come to Edmondson because we don't sit in our hotel room the bed is comfortable the sheets are clean, they could use more towels that would be nice.

Close to my work and room with all living needs are there
