Quick 1 night stsy making this a great hotel choice. Close to restaurants and walking distance to many shops and night life. Need to seriously consider this hotel for your next visit to Portland, Maine.

Perfect in every way! We were greeted warmly and given a map as well as a printed list of restaurant recommendations by cuisine type with price ranges and addresses (she even pointed out some nearby favorites)! Such a nice touch! Truly felt welcomed here.Valet parking was quick and always had our car ready within minutes at various times of the day/night.When I requested some additional items, someone was at my door almost immediately! Super clean, everything seemed new. The room was big, beds/pillows comfortable - an end table with outlet, USB and lights on each side of both beds.Huge shower! Great view of the port from our room.An amazing location, just a short walk to the piers, tons of shops and restaurants. Absolutely recommend and will stay here any time I’m lucky enough to make it back to Portland!

The check in was simple. Room was clean and exactly as you would expect a Courtyard to look. The location was great. Just a tad off center of the "main drag"... with a view of the harbor over the top of a parking lot.
Food was a quick half mile walk.
Check in and check out were as expected again, for a courtyard.
I'd stay there again.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the hotel! Despite the hotel being incredibly busy, Brandon went out of his way to pick us up with the shuttle, which we really appreciated. The entire team, without exception, was exceptional! We were particularly touched by the bartender who made a late-night bagel for our son when he was hungry. This truly went above and beyond our expectations! We loved being able to walk to all our favorite spots from the hotel - it made our stay even more enjoyable. We're already planning our return because this has become our new favorite hotel in Portland! The family-friendly atmosphere really made a difference for us.

Good location and the free shuttle service but overall I was very disappointed in this Marriott. The hotel lobby and the rooms are very cold and don’t provide a relaxing atmosphere. The front desk was not very helpful or knowledgeable. We had a problem with the door to our room, it was very difficult to open and we asked for maintenance to check it out, they never came. There is seldom anyone in the restaurant or bar and they are expensive. Don’t bother buying a candy bar, $7.00 for a kit kat.

This was our first trip to Portland and our time in this amazing city was further amplified by this great hotel. The room seemed brand new and extremely spaces - we had two king beds for our family of four! The lobby is a great meeting area and has a lounge that functions as a Starbucks in the morning and nice bar in the evening. And all of Portland's Old Port attractions are a short walk away.

The hotel is in the convenient location to Old Port and harbor. The hotel is fully upgraded and renovated.
Only complaint I have is the surprising additional charge I have to pay. Given the location and the time I stay, I knew the price range. I booked through the app, while paid at the hotel. Where I was charged more than the price quote I received on the app, while unfortunately I didn’t have the original price quote saved and couldn’t find on the app again. So I’m not happy with the pricing, both Hotel.com and the hotel.

Well, it would have been nicer if they had free parking. Or at least let us no ahead of time there wasn’t. We didn’t even know how much it was for valet parking until I saw the charge this morning.
Also the pool was out of commission so we couldn’t use that.

Located steps away from the Old Port section of Portland, the hotel is close to many restaurants and breweries.
Our room was spacious and bathroom was very clean. Loved the shower, and the air conditioner and heat functioned very well.
We traveled with two children (10 & 5) and they really enjoyed the pool, which is located to the side of the elevators in the lobby. Pool was smallish, about 15’x25’, depth going from 3 feet to 5 feet at the far end. Water was pleasantly warm too which was great.
Our 2nd floor room was just around the corner from the elevators and the fitness room, which we used too. It comes equipped with two Peleton bikes, three treadmills, three eliptical machines, barbells, and pulls.
Area seemed safe, many shops and restaurants nearby and minutes away.
I would recommend staying at this hotel.
Also, parking is valet only at $35.

We didn't have a great stay. Our room was not cleaned and when asked if we could get it cleaned they sent a cleaner who claimed not to be a cleaner but just someone who brings towels. There was also mess in the hallways.
