Overall it is a very nice hotel, beautifully located in front of the beach. The breakfast was nice and so was the relatively spacious room. However the double bed was small and very uncomfortable. Having said that, I wouldn't rule out staying there again

Very nice room with private tub and little patio, close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and beautiful things to see.

We were supposed to stay for 3 nights, but we left early because of the hallway noise and the air conditioner that kept us up for 2 nights with a loud cracking noise every 15 minutes. The staff were nice and the room was clean, but the hotel was very dumpy and outdated. Broken elevator. One of us had to sit on the bed for the other to cross room. Old bathroom. Parking was in a dirt field nearby. The door lock seemed flimsy. For that price, we expected more.

Four stars… great location, fantastic buffet meals, great view, attentive staff, nice pool, roomy property, basic well-cared-for rooms. Great value!

Not so much the fault of the hotel, but outside guests attending the public restaurant were way too loud, as well as a handful of guests staying in the rooms. Was told it would be onsite free parking, which it was, but finding a space was almost impossible as restaurant guests would also use same space. Had to ask for cleaners to clean room, room very substandard, coffee rings on furniture, bathroom had drain smell and coffee machine way too small, needed several cups in order to satisfy, just room felt way out of date and neglected. Justifiable concerns raised with staff who did nothing, not even an apology (even if it was meaningless, at least something would be nice) Could be me, but for the price of €159pn was expecting way more, simply cannot recommend.

Great sea view. Friendly welcome and service from all. Super pool that was not busy. Very relaxing stay.

This was just an overnighter but worked well. The area is beautiful and perfectly placed, if travelling, as we were, between Lisbon and the Algarve. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and worthy of its star rating, and the location is great, but what really sells it, is the restaurant. They do an all-you-can-eat buffet for around 12€, winter rate. The selection was amazing and the quality was excellent. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotels.com said it was a 4 star hotel. Definitely not the case. The staff even told us it must have been a mistake on the homepage. Room was very could and did not nearly live up to our expectation. The staff however was extremely friendly! Great great staff! They made the stay durable and the reason I did not complaint.

Location was amazing. Staff really helpful. Beds were comfortable.

Interesting place. Large restaurant and beautiful pool but the room we had was dark and very small. You are paying for location and not the room because it was accross the street from a busy beach. There are no waves at this beach because it's on a river that is very close to the ocean. The reception area is only open at certain times of the day.

C\Walking distance to town and the beach area. Our room was at the far end over the restaurant and was too hot and the air condition unit could not keep up.

Clean hotel, rooms slightly on the cold side, even though its Portugal - they still need heating! Otherwise good.

This is a difficult location to get to. The Garmin navigator wanted us to go down the wrong way on one way streets. The street in front of the hotel was barricaded but no one was sure why and no one observed the no entry signs. There is no elevator in the hotel just a very long circular ramp up to the floor of the rooms. The dinner at the hotel is a buffet but difficult to understand the menu as there are options you can order from the table and the wait staff could not easily explain. The location and view was great and the town center not far away is fun to visit.

Room is very basic. Pictures show the ocean view room with a balcony view. However there are only 2 of these rooms right at the end. The test of the ocean view rooms have high concrete balcony fronts so you have to stand up on the balcony to see the view. You can't see the view from inside the room. Rooms are dark.
