First, this is not the Ritz, so let’s not compare it to the Ritz. It is called the Economy for a reason. But that doesn’t make it bad. The rooms are clean, the people who own it are nice, the pool is great, and it is close enough to the beach and food, and all the other things you want to access in Somers Point — all for a hundred plus dollars per night. And it’s totally dog friendly. We have stayed there a few times and will stay there again.

Office staff were welcoming and nice and met needs as soon as possible. Options for breakfast were very limited. Good price with working TV. Hot and cold water hooked up backwards in both bathroom sink and tub faucets. Drapes in poor condition, not covering windows properly. Clean swimming pool.

The price was responsible, but you get what your pay for. The flooring was warped

The room was extremely dirty, everything was sticky and disgusting (including the sheets). The window in the kitchenet wouldn't lock. The tiles in the bathroom were all cracked and held together by caulk and sheet vinyl. Don't stay here.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! The rooms are disgusting and the employees do not care. They allow customers to smoke in the rooms then tell you that there is no smoking. The room they tried to have us stay in had cigarette burns on the bed cover and stains all over it. The room smelled horrible, no amount of Lysol or cleaning would fix it. They said they couldn’t refund because the manager wasn’t there then when you call they act like they don’t know when the manager will be in again. Save the hassle and book somewhere else.

I can handle old decor and less than perfect conditions, but this place was filthy! There were old-style mouse snap traps and mouse poop under the kitchen sink. There were hole cut in the cabinets under the sinks where they had clearly leaked and a lot of mold left behind. The room smell so bad like cigarette smoke, I was concerned all of our belongings were going to smell like it. We would have left but we had nowhere else to go. Stayed one night and will NEVER go back.

Bed bugs! My family and I had a week vacation, we booked this hotel because it was priced good and it looked decent in the pictures… WRONG! My dad started to get random bites around his neck and arms. We just thought he was getting bit by mosquitoes until he saw bugs crawling and jumping on the bed. When they reported it to the front desk, not a care in the world. They shrugged their shoulders. Absolutely disgusting. Never going back there.

I really like old strip hotels near the beach, reminds me of being a kid. I really enjoyed this place. I was midweeks I would probably wasn't as busy as it usually is but I got into my room right away, was in the pool wasn't too crowded. I guess things for me in a hotel or that the air conditioning works at the shower is good I took two good hot showers with lots of pressure so had a really good stay and would go back again

The entire room had a terrible smell. The floor was coming up and uneven. This morning a roach was in the bathroom. The shower liner and the room was dirty. I have pictures I can upload if needed.

What an AMAZING gem this little hotel was!!! My boyfriend and I were on a tight budget and looking for a place to relax after a weekend in Atlantic City. This place was PERFECT. The room was ginormous, the air conditioning nice and cold, the pool sparkling clean and the owner was super friendly. They even had waffles and fresh coffee for breakfast - all for only $81/night! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Compared to other motels in Sommers Point it was pretty good.

The electrical outlets were outdated and ungrounded, making it difficult to use essential devices like my CPAP machine. They struggled to hold plugs securely, which was inconvenient. Considering the price paid, Economy Motel Inn & Suites met our expectations in terms of value and location. It's a budget-friendly option conveniently situated for exploring Ocean City, NJ. On the downside, the breakfast was disappointing, lacking variety and quality compared to similar establishments. Overall, Economy Motel Inn & Suites is a decent choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a clean and comfortable stay. Addressing the electrical outlet issue and improving breakfast quality would significantly enhance the guest experience. Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

I reserved a smoking room which was stated on my email confirmation although the room provided was non-smoking.

Nice and clean motel. Comfortable beds and cold air conditioner. Nice pool. Had a Wawa and a diner right next to it. Very affordable and convenient

My room was very old, but clean. The pool was in a convenient spot and well maintain The staff was pleasant. If needed we would return.

Swarms of mosquitoes gnats it was the only place available for the day that I needed it. Honestly you get what you pay for.

Over it’s a room to stay in if you are doing one night and everything else is sold out. The room did have a good ac the bed is as terrible. Barely slept in the am had terrible back pain due to the bed you can feel the coils on the mattress.

l liked the place because It is pet friendly, breakfast is included, convenient access to Wildwood and Ocean city.

Well, the room was not in the best shape. The floor was damaged upon arrival. They had to fix the mirror in the sink as I was coming into my room. The area was pretty inconvenient. No reason for the price to be so high for what you get.

Nasty, dirty, we couldn't even stay there. I can't believe this place isn't shut down. I am far from a picky person but this place is so unacceptable. For free I wouldn't stay there. Tv worked, wifi worked, hot water worked but every single thing was dirty I mean bugs crawling on bed, walls need to to wiped with bleach, so much culk in the tub and bathroom to try to cover up cracks, holes all throughout the baseboards and walls. Writing on the walls. I can go on like I said we left because we couldn't stay there

Love the pool and things for the most part are kept really clean. I am very aware some things are out of control for the motel, but we found a lot of spiders, beetles and other bugs in our rooms and shower areas.

It was horrible. There was a group of young adults that were up at all hours of the night. We complained to mgmt & they did nothing both nights. Also, someone was propositioned for a drug deal. Mgmt was notified & did nothing. I would never recommend this motel.

I was not a good experience. When we got into the room, there were bugs, stains on the bedding and towels. Nothing was clean. We went down to the front desk but no one was there so we left the key and went elsewhere. I would appreciate a refund to my credit card.
