Room was clean ,bed comfortable, location was great for our trip.
Hot water ,well we never found any ! Ran the hot water for over 10 minutes ,it finally did get luke warm ,maybe.
Air conditioner , Noisey , came on about every 15 minutes .
We planned to get up early 5:30am but we were awake off and on from 1:00am , never needed our alarm.
But for the price ,and for one night ,Not that bad .

After reading all the positive reviews at this place, we decided to stay here. Big mistake. Everything is very rundown in the curtains hanging on the windows are in rags. The hot water and cold water were backwards

Check in was great, pool looked nice and clean (didnt use it). The place is rundown(understaded) floors, bed, ac, tv, etc...no hot water at 2pm in the afternoon, window didnt lock, etc. Didnt spend the night, checked out to find another place... i know its very cheap but now i know why.

You get what you pay for. It’s cheap & convenient. Sheets a bit stained (but clean), bathroom door gets stuck, and have to run water for 5 min before it gets hot. We were only staying one night so it worked, but could use some updating.

We needed a place last minute and at a reasonable price and found that yhe Economy Hotel was within a 5 minute drive of the beach in OC NJ. It had free breakfast and a pool for the kids to enjoy while we were there. Had fun

First, this is not the Ritz, so let’s not compare it to the Ritz. It is called the Economy for a reason. But that doesn’t make it bad. The rooms are clean, the people who own it are nice, the pool is great, and it is close enough to the beach and food, and all the other things you want to access in Somers Point — all for a hundred plus dollars per night. And it’s totally dog friendly. We have stayed there a few times and will stay there again.

Office staff were welcoming and nice and met needs as soon as possible. Options for breakfast were very limited. Good price with working TV. Hot and cold water hooked up backwards in both bathroom sink and tub faucets. Drapes in poor condition, not covering windows properly. Clean swimming pool.

The room was extremely dirty, everything was sticky and disgusting (including the sheets). The window in the kitchenet wouldn't lock. The tiles in the bathroom were all cracked and held together by caulk and sheet vinyl.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! The rooms are disgusting and the employees do not care. They allow customers to smoke in the rooms then tell you that there is no smoking. The room they tried to have us stay in had cigarette burns on the bed cover and stains all over it. The room smelled horrible, no amount of Lysol or cleaning would fix it. They said they couldn’t refund because the manager wasn’t there then when you call they act like they don’t know when the manager will be in again. Save the hassle and book somewhere else.

There were hole cut in the cabinets under the sinks where they had clearly leaked and a lot of mold left behind. The room smell so bad like cigarette smoke, I was concerned all of our belongings were going to smell like it. We would have left but we had nowhere else to go. Stayed one night and will NEVER go back.

I really like old strip hotels near the beach, reminds me of being a kid. I really enjoyed this place. I was midweeks I would probably wasn't as busy as it usually is but I got into my room right away, was in the pool wasn't too crowded. I guess things for me in a hotel or that the air conditioning works at the shower is good I took two good hot showers with lots of pressure so had a really good stay and would
go back again

Not only was there mold room painted yellow had green and pink tile walls with white and black floor tile
Ask for extra pillows and blankets and they said don't have any extra
