easy and convenient, I enjoyed my stay here.

The shower head fell off. Inconvenient having to have maintenance fixing when you need to shower in the mornings. Otherwise property was good.

It was great ,back to basics but has everything you need .
Only thing that it lacks is any cooking pots and pans .
Other than that it was amazing . Clean , kids had a blast .

Great family place to go. Has so many options for all ages of children. My 2 year old loved the playground and pillow jump. Will definitely be back.

Great place overall. Perfect for the whole family with playground, pool and communal spaces.
Only disappointment was cleanliness of our room. The floor had bits of food etc under table.
Also parking for rooms were allocated but seems the message wasn’t consistent with everyone

Really tidy 2 bedroom apartment, had everything we needed. Enjoyed being close to the water. Kids loved the playground and bunch pillow.

This was our end of year visit to Splash Planet and the students loved it - huge space to run around, space inside to play cards and board games - all round awesome! We had a flat but only used one room however the TV in the bedroom wasn’t working and online instructions were difficult to understand so we just watched the one in the lounge. Otherwise the room had almost everything we needed - huge fridge ideal for families on holiday, microwave, stove hob etc. All in all great value

Pros: Grounds were well kept and attractive. Reception was friendly.
Cons: Parking was tight where we were (scratched the back of the van). No hooks to hang anything on. Hard beds. Nowhere to stow bags. Cutlery kept high up and behind crockery (had to be tall to access easily).
Note: Booked two nights but stayed one and went elsewhere for the second night, which was way better. Left an item behind so left a message on answerphone....no response. Wouldn't stay there again. We stayed in a unit with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Those facilities were ok.

Heat pump didn’t work. No sky tv. I thought for the price of 176 I might have been able to watch the rugby World Cup final. Couldn’t use the big element on the stove top.

The room was not as nice as the photos suggest. Maybe we received a different room to what we had booked? The bathroom was fairly modern but the rest of the rooms needed a good spruce up/modernizing. The best thing was the service - friendly and helpful people at the counter the couple of times we went into the office. When charging motel prices we think the Hastings Top 10 could do a bit better. Nice grounds and if you had kids, I am sure they would enjoy the playground etc.

No heated pool- in September. When I booked to stay it said heated pool and that was the draw card, so really disappointing not to have this.

Room was tidy and easy to warm up but with a very noisy fan. Expect better internet than was available. Don't expect to have to pay for extra bandwidth when the free internet was so limited

No hot water for the shower and for the price of the night was very expensive and had no ensuite so had to use shared amenities

I can only rate this property as terrible as our booking was cancelled by the property whilst we were on our way to the airport on the day of our travel. Alternative option provided didn't suit our requirements as we were attending for an event. Very disappointed and felt the reasons provided were disingenuous as what was told to us just didn't make sense that they only were aware on the day that we were due to arrive. We were fortunate that an alternative property had a cancellation and we were able to find somewhere else to stay.

Cups still had lip and lipstick marks on them when we got there and the dish rack was dirty and sticky.. staff are nice and the grounds are nice too. Just a few minor issues with cleanliness. Other than those though pretty cool little holiday place for a family.
